Looking at Aiden's dubious expression, Zachary smiled and explained, "Our family acquired Avirax Medicare not long ago, so you could say it belongs to us. All it takes to solve the problem is a word from us."
Aiden was stunned momentarily before he smiled. "It seems like I got the right person. Lucky me!"
"Oh, Denny, do you have any plans for the future? Are you going to stay with the Gray Family forever?"
"I'm looking for a building to open up a medical center."
"Marvelous idea! Is there anything I can help with?"
"Nothing for now. I'll give you a call if I can't find a suitable place."
"Alright. Do tell me when it's opened for business."
The light conversation continued a little longer until Aiden bid goodbye. By the time he came back home, Angelina was watching a movie in the living room and snorted coldly upon his return.
He smiled bitterly and had no intention of telling her that he asked for help from Zachary, figuring that she would not believe his words. Nonetheless, the issue would be settled if the contract was signed.
In the meantime, it upset her because he did not speak to her. She thought she was making a fuss when she was mad at him and only realized he was out when she left the room.
Guessing that her attitude had hurt him, she wished to talk with Aiden when he came home. She wanted to tell him that she did that for his sake, yet he did not utter a word to her after coming home.
After dinner, a sleepless Angelina tossed and turned in her bed. Previously, she had been preparing for the day Aiden left the Gray Family and even told him to learn a skill so that he could earn a living upon his departure.
However, she was hurt when he brought up the divorce; it was as if she lost something that belonged to her. She could not understand the reason behind the pain, knowing she should be celebrating it instead. Therefore, why was she furious?
In actuality, she did not realize that Aiden had become a part of her life during the three years spent together. It was an irrefutable subconscious feeling of hers.
She eventually drifted into dreamland as time passed.
Aiden left the house first thing in the morning, which displeased Linda. "He thinks he's something, huh? He's not even making breakfast."
As usual, he planned on searching for a suitable place for a medical center today. Before that, he stopped by Prime Hospital.
A vehement Arnold got out of bed upon Aiden's visit. He came up to the man and stretched out his hand. "Mr. Finnegan, thank you so much for saving me!"
Aiden noticed Arnold's cultivation breakthrough the moment he entered the room, which was why he did not avoid the man's act of gratitude. Smiling, he returned the handshake. "You had a breakthrough?"
"It's all thanks to your pills, Mr. Finnegan." After taking the Healing Pill, Arnold could finally advance to martial cultivation peak by throwing off the shackles that troubled him for years.
Although it was merely the early stage of his martial cultivation peak, the advantages were huge; his capability grew, and his longevity was prolonged. No superlatives could express his immense gratitude for Aiden, who was the main reason for the change in him. Had Gina not advised Arnold to stay in the hospital, he would have run to Aiden's house to say, 'thank you'!
"I'm happy to hear that." Aiden nodded. "I'm here to just check on you. Since you're doing fine, I guess I should get going now."
He left the patient room, after which Arnold recalled Gina's plan to gift Aiden a medical center. He hurriedly dialed her number.
"You're early, Arnold." She was not fully awake yet.
"Miss, Mr. Finnegan came to the hospital just a while ago, but I forgot to tell him about the medical center. I bet he's on a search for a place again, so I'm calling you just in case."
What does she want from me again? Problems arise every single time she looks for me. She was drunk at the pub the first time and angered Angelina at the party. Someone even attempted an assassination yesterday. Should I be prepared to have my neck chopped off the next time we meet?
