After saying that, Angelina realized that her words were a little inappropriate and hurriedly explained to Aiden, "I didn't mean that!"
Aiden nodded and was just about to speak when Gina scoffed. "I really can't tell if you're smart or stupid for asking who would fancy their husband in front of an outsider. Only a foolish woman would belittle her husband in front of an outsider!"
"So, you do know you're an outsider!" Angelina said with a cold sneer.
Aiden felt extremely uncomfortable being caught in between the two women and finally intercepted when he found a chance, saying exasperatedly, "Miss Gina, Angelina, stop arguing!"
However, Gina smiled uncaringly and said, "Okay, I'll listen to you!"
With that, she began to direct the workers to move the antiques down from the truck.
Angelina was even more angered by Gina's obedient attitude toward Aiden, but she still grumbled, "Minx!"
While it was true that Angelina had absolute confidence in her own appearance and Gina was a little behind her in terms of looks, she was not only dressed boldly but also sexy and flirtatious. In fact, women like her were fatal to men. Gina was also the one who came to help with the opening of Aiden's medical center. Who would believe that they had a normal relationship? Not only that, she was always acting so intimate with him, young Aiden this, young Aiden that!
When Gina disappeared into the medical center, Aiden looked at Angelina with a cheeky smile and asked, "Are you jealous?"
"Hmph! You wish!" she huffed, but the flush on her face showed Aiden that he had guessed right.
Angelina was jealous that her relationship with Aiden had just improved the day before, and she had grown fond of that feeling, but a woman appeared by his side just a day later, and it just had to be the sultry Gina. Not only that, Gina came from a good family as well. What exactly was so appealing about Aiden?
"Where did you get the money to start the medical center?" she asked.
Aiden explained, "This medical center was opened with the consultation fee for the treatment I gave to Arnold, who's close to Miss Gina!"
"Consultation fee?" Angelina was dumbfounded by his words. She didn't believe that Gina had feelings for Aiden and gave him a medical center because of that as the two of them had only been in contact for a few days, but what shocked Angelina was how much money the consultation fee cost. What kind of illness was it?
The medical center was located in the downtown area of Keyland, making it impossible to obtain without having to fork out at least three hundred thousand. Did Aiden really know how to treat diseases? The first time could be brushed off as luck, the second time a coincidence, but could that still be said of the third time?
Hence, Angelina began to look at Aiden with her eyes full of shock.
"I already told you that I'm medically trained, but you didn't believe me," he said nonchalantly.
After hearing that, Angelina looked at Aiden with a conflicted expression. From his tone, she could sense that he felt wronged by her words.
"I didn't believe you because of the way you used to be…" She started with a frown, which quickly eased as she added, "Anyway, I'll believe whatever you say to me in the future!"
Aiden looked at her in surprise, knowing that with her personality, this was her indirectly apologizing.
"Come on, let's go and have a look at my medical center," he invited with a smile.
"Okay!" Angelina nodded in assent.
When the two walked into the medical center, Helena said to Aiden, "Aren't you afraid that I'll steal the check when you leave it on the table so casually? I have no idea what you're thinking!"
As soon as she finished, she noticed that a devastatingly beautiful woman was standing by his side, and she said blankly, "Miss, you're beautiful!"
Angelina was amused by Helena's expression and was delighted by her praise, to which she replied, "You're really pretty too!"
