Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 47

Aiden turned around and looked at Gina. "What's wrong, Miss Gina?"

"Don't tell me you cured Gabriel's impotence?" she asked, a little startled.

Hearing that, Aiden looked at Gina in surprise. "You know about it?"

However, she only smiled and explained, "Everyone in Keyland knows about it. They just don't bring it up in front of him. Now that you've cured him, he'll probably favor you in the future!"

Angelina had heard of Gabriel as well, and she was even more astonished upon finding out that Aiden had treated him. She couldn't imagine what had happened in the past few days that turned Aiden into a completely different person.

"All right, I've set everything up! I have work to do at the office, so I'll leave now. I'll call you when I'm free!" Gina said to Aiden and winked at him as she turned to leave, her expression indescribably flirtatious.

Angelina was furious as soon as she saw Gina's actions and said with a huff, "Miss Harper, you should focus on the company first. Besides, Aiden doesn't have time these days!"

However, Gina only ignored her and left the medical center.

After Gina left, Angelina looked around the medical center. The vintage decoration gave it an elegant and eye-pleasing look, but when she saw the few antiques that Gina brought, she said with a frown, "How can these things be placed like this? She obviously has never done any housekeeping at home!"

Hearing that, Aiden helplessly smiled. He thought the location Gina picked was quite good and felt that Angelina wouldn't have said that if it weren't for Gina. It was clear that she was just being picky. Still, he repositioned the antiques in accordance with Angelina's 'instructions.'

Once they were done, Angelina nodded in satisfaction and handed the check in her hand to Aiden.

However, he did not accept it and said with a smile, "Just keep it with you."

Angelina shook her head and refused, "You'll need some funds since you just started the medical center. I don't want it."

"Just take it. I still have enough on me," Aiden insisted.

Angelina looked at him and said with a half-smile, "How much do you have left?"

"Trust me, I have enough." Aiden grinned.

Angelina said with a pout, "How stubborn!"

Still, she kept the check in her bag and said, "I'll keep it for you for now. Just send me a holler if you want to use it."

"Okay!" Aiden nodded.

Soon after, Angelina had to leave for work, and she left the medical center after bidding Aiden goodbye.

As soon as Angelina left the medical center, however, she turned back and said to Aiden, "Stay away from Gina in the future! And be sure to tell me if anything happens!"

"Okay," Aiden agreed helplessly. What else could he say?

"I'm not joking! You better remember that, or else!" Saying that, she waved a fist at him.

"Yes, ma'am!" Aiden complied with a smile.

After watching Angelina leave, he turned around and sighed, muttering to himself, "Oh, this is giving me a headache."

Gina was kind to him, and he couldn't tell her to leave him alone even if he tried.

At this moment, Reece said with a smile, "Mr. Finnegan, things will work out in the end."

After walking into the office, Angelina immediately went to the president's office and knocked on the door. As she did so, she thought to herself that she had been the one sitting on the other end in the past and that others would knock on her door instead.

"Come in!" Mason's voice sounded from within.

As soon as Angelina entered, she cut to the chase. "Mr. Gray, I've signed the contract with Avirax Medicare!"

"What did you say?" Mason, who had just been looking at the computer, hurriedly raised his head to look at her upon hearing her words.

Angelina placed the file in her hand on his desk and said, "This is Avirax Medicare's contract. Please have a look. Once you sign it, it will take effect immediately."

"Mr. Gray, you mentioned the formation of a new department, right?" Angelina reminded.

Mason froze at her words, but he immediately said, "Yes, I did. I'll have it prepared in the next few days. Now get back to work and wait for my news!"

"But, Mr. Gray, I think it'd be better to get in contact with Avirax Medicare as soon as possible…" Angelina protested with a frown.

Before she could finish, Mason interrupted her impatiently, "I know what I'm doing. You should get to work for now."

Upon seeing his irritated expression, she chose not to stick around, thinking that there should be no problem with him making the announcement in front of so many people in the office that day.

At that thought, Angelina returned to her office and picked up her phone to call Ray. She wasn't naive enough to think that Aiden could really read her stars, and Archie mentioned that a friend of hers had already helped her out in advance.

Ray's voice sounded from the other end. "What's the matter, Angelina?"
