This time, those hidden in the shadows could not resist making their move again.
From the very beginning, Daniel's goal had always been the same—to root out everyone who obstructed the rise of the genetic serum and harmed the Ashcroft family, leaving no one behind.
With both the Keaton and Crane families choosing to retreat, anyone with a sane mind could tell what was going on. The rise of the Ashcroft Group had already become an unstoppable trend.
Omari sat in the Obsidian Group, his face exceptionally grim.
"Mr. Dooly, I've just received news that Alden… He took down another two of our spots!" Damon reported, gritting his teeth.
Omari had been operating in Qranross for many years, establishing a solid foundation. However, his power had fallen apart, as Daniel had relentlessly squeezed his space for survival through a process of gradual erosion.
All he could do was watch helplessly as everything unraveled before him.
"I got it. Dismissed," Omari replied lethargically.
Anyone who had his limbs broken would feel as dispirited as him. Once the others left, he uttered through gritted teeth, "A bunch of useless, shits-for-brains pieces of trash! The Keatons and Cranes are all equally useless!"
He roared furiously, and it was then his trusted aide, Nyx Walker, appeared.
"It looks like we must take action now. Otherwise, we're only going to become more passive."
Omari hesitated briefly, then suddenly asked, "What day is it today?"
Though confused by Omari's question, Nyx replied, "The third of August."
"You've underestimated me, Daniel. I'll make you remember me forever!" A glint of determination flashed in her eyes, and while everyone was distracted, she quietly left the estate.
Daniel was not at all surprised by Jennifer's departure. The reason she could tolerate being a servant under him was not because she realized her mistake but because she knew she would die without him.
That was the only reason.
Now that he had given the order for Zidane to take care of the debt issue, Jennifer would certainly not stay to endure the humiliation.
However, Daniel couldn't be bothered to deal with her. Leaving her to fend for herself was the best form of revenge.
But she probably never imagined being blocked just as she left Verdant Estate.
