"That's not up to you to decide!" Margaret declared and turned to Charlene with a smug expression.
Charlene helplessly shook her head and looked at Daniel. "Looks like you've got yourself a real headache."
No doubt Conor had brought him a huge problem, but Daniel stuck to his plans despite Margaret's presence.
Margaret was wary of Charlene but didn't reject the latter's attempts at modernizing her style. Now, she was dressed like an ordinary city lady with jeans and a leather jacket. Her youthful face highlighted her beauty.
The only issue was… Her face made her seem like an elementary schooler.
…
"So, is this the big city you talked about?" Margaret curiously asked as she watched the crowds of people hurrying about upon their arrival in Magden.
"That's right. This is the busiest district of Magden." Daniel nodded and checked the time. "Let's go. We need to find a place to stay."
"Okay!" Margaret responded. Then, she grabbed her phone and rapidly scrolled through it.
Intrigued, Daniel glanced over and asked, "What are you looking for?"
"I'm checking out guides! I'm gonna see where the best food and entertainment spots are!" she said matter-of-factly.
At first, dealing with Margaret had been a headache for Daniel, but over time, she seemed just like an innocent, straightforward child. She wasn't as much of a burden as he'd feared.
Of course, it'd taken a lot of effort to stop her from calling him a pervert.
"Let me know when you've found something good," Daniel said. He didn't mind going with anything she suggested. Though he had other plans, they were in Magden, and it wouldn't hurt to enjoy the experience a little.
"I've picked a spot! Let's go there!" Margaret handed her phone to Daniel.
Daniel glanced at it and didn't hesitate to agree. "Alright, The Harbor it is. There's indeed an excellent night view."
