"Jennifer, look at yourself right now. If people see this, you'll ruin the Walsh family's reputation," Jacob said with a stern expression.
Upon hearing this, Jennifer laughed mockingly. "Don't worry. I'm now the daughter-in-law of the Ashcroft family. Whether others admit it or not, they cannot change that fact. Even if there's humiliation, it won't tarnish your family's reputation."
"Jennifer, what kind of attitude is that?" Solomon slammed his hand on the table, struggling to stand up with his crutches.
Jennifer's suppressed anger completely erupted as she slapped Solomon hard across the face. "Shut up, you disrespectful brat!"
Solomon was clearly stunned by the slap.
Jennifer might be his sister, but she had never dared to hit him.
"Jennifer, how dare you hit me!" Solomon looked at her in disbelief.
However, Jennifer seemed to have found an outlet for her frustration. Shoving Solomon to the ground, she swung her arm and began slapping Solomon's face repeatedly.
"Why are you still talking? I gave Ashcroft Group to you when you asked for it. But you went and worked with Amarok's gang! Do you even know what happened today? If it weren't for Daniel, I wouldn't have made it back alive!
"Do you know how much money I've spent over the years to clean up the messes you caused? Three million dollars? Five million dollars? And you still have the audacity to yell at me? Who do you think you are?"
Jennifer finally let it all out, venting the grievance and anger she had held back for so long.
Solomon's once fair face was now swollen and bruised.
Seeing Solomon beaten to such a miserable state, Jacob could no longer stay silent. He slammed his hand on the table and shouted, "Enough! How much longer are you two going to fight?"
