Chapter 305
KINGSTON
I’m just returning from my breakfast meeting when someone runs to my car, Lexie.
“Alpha Kingston,” she bows, nervously toying with her fingers. “I”
“Good morning, Lexie.”
“You need to come, quick.” She blurts out, dancing on her toes like she needs to pee.”
“What is it?” I frown, “What happened?”
She swallows, barely meeting my gaze. “Luna Aeliana…”
Oh shit.
Someone bullied her again and Aeliana is retaliating. “Who was it this time?” I sigh. Aeliana could honestly use the outlet, she’s been looking for one, and someone fell dead in her trap. I said she
shouldn’t fight the staff or the other pack members, but she can have this one.
“No one,” Lexie swallows. “She’s gone….please come inside, she’s not listening to anyone, she’s screaming about demons, and monsters, she’s calling everyone traitors and evil.”
“What?” I pause, trying to make sense of her words.
“Please hurry, Alpha.” She begs, unable to stand still. “Shes made a mess of the house. She’s hurt.”
Hurt?
That gets me to move, I don’t even shut my car, I instantly run into the house. I’m ready to sprint into action, to break up a fight, but I stop in my tracks when I see what’s happening. Aeliana is trashing the house, everyone around her looks horrified, she’s screaming, bleeding, eyes wide and soulless. “Aeliana!”
She doesn’t turn, she doesn’t hear me.
“Why me?!” She screams, staring at the two horrified women cast in a corner together, Seraphine and Audrey. “Why was I the one toyed with? What did I do?!”
“Aeliana, calm down,” Audrey begs, appearing genuinely horrified by the sight of her. She’s throwing everything within reach, throws a bottle of wine aimlessly, and it lands on the wall beside Seraphine, missing her head by an inch.
I move hastily, trying to get a hold of her. “You all laughed, you pointed fingers! I was a child. I needed just one of you to hear me out.” She laments, her voice broken, crushed. She’s not having a panic attack, but she’s still struggling with her words, and her breathing. “Just one, but no one ever listens to me!” She snaps, breaking free of my hold and moving in circles, pulling at her hair. “And it’s because of you two! You lied and lied, you made me…it’s you.”
“What did you do to her?” I growl, glaring at Audrey and Sera. Both shake their heads in fear, holding onto

each other. No one says anything, but someone did something because she’s losing it, she’s manic. My wolf pushes forward, the urge to comfort her overtaking us both, but I fight him, I fight for calm. I need to be calm so she can mirror it.
“Kingston, help her,” Danielle screams at me. “She’s hurting herself.”
Aeliana screams, stomping her feet on the ground while I stalk her from behind, slow and careful. “I never hurt anyone, so why did he hurt me?” She asks, pointing a half-broken bottle at Audrey and Sera.
Him?
Is she talking about me?
“I didn’t deserve that, I didn’t, that demon ruined my life.” She says, this time her voice lower, and just as broken. I manage to grab both her wrists and restrain her, but her elbows dive into my sides. “That demon can’t touch me again!” She screams, her body tensing. The bottle falls free and I take a step back. She’s freakishly strong right now, she breaks free of my hold with so much ease, proceeding as if I’m not here. “I said no, I said no so many times, but you didn’t leave, now look what you’ve done to me! Look what that monster of yours did!”
I grab her again, holding her back but she doesn’t let me, she starts kicking and trying to go towards either Sera or Audrey, whichever one made her upset. “Why didn’t you take your demon with you! Why?!”
