Chapter 312
“What did the poor guy do to piss you off? Is this about earlier, because he wasn’t-”
I pause halfway up the staircase. “He assaulted my mate.”
Maddox freezes for a moment and then he jogs up. “Oh hell no,” he snaps. “Where is that balding bastard? Brandon fucking Rollins?”
I search the entire house, but I can’t find him anywhere, he should be here. He was just arriving as we left the house, I saw him, we all did. He inquired about Aeliana, he smiled at her, and I let him, I feel sick all over again, it must have felt like hell for her. I let her live in the same house as her abuser, and he tried to do it under my roof? How blind was I?
“Audrey!” I scream, jogging back down the stairs after my failed attempt at finding Brandon there.
“Alpha Kingston,” she frowns, her head tilted as she stares at me from the kitchen door.
“Where’s Seraphine?”
She points over her shoulder. Sera emerges from the kitchen with a glass of water in her hand, she pauses when she sees me. “Where is your husband?”
“My husband?”
“Yes, where is that piece of shit you married?” I repeat. “Where is he?” I demand, my patience wearing thin and my anger multiplying.
Seraphine frowns, “Why are you looking for him and insulting him? This isn’t like you, Alpha Kingston. My husband is a good man, he…”
“Tell me where he is right this instant, I need to know, I need to find him, he needs to pay.”
“Did he do something wrong, Alpha Kingston?” Audrey softly asks.
“Wrong?” I snarl. “He signed his death sentence when he touched my wife, tell me where that rapist is.”
Seraphine’s eyes widen, “Rapist?”
“Your husband, the good man you’re praising raped your sister, he raped my Aeliana!” I spit, “And you still married him, you moved him into my house, you brought scam into my house and-”
“Oh my God,” Audrey gasps. “He did what? When?”
“Tell me where he is,” I ask Seraphine.
“I don’t know,” she swallows. “He went out, he said he’s going to run an errand, if you want, I can call him
if…”
“Kingston, let’s go.” Maddox angrily sneers, “We’re going to find that bastard, and before the day breaks, you’ll be a widow.” He says, pointing at Seraphine whose face pales.

I turn on my heels, going with him. I absolutely forgot the reason I had gone back into Eleanor’s house was that I had a meeting with the older generation pack leaders and would run late. The thought doesn’t cross my mind once, I’m focused on finding Brandon, boiling with rage that I don’t know what to do with, that is until I see Gamma Bryan Hartley.
“Alpha,” one of the Gemmas greets.
“Alpha Kingston,” Another greets, but I ignore them, rushing towards my father-in-law, the other man who failed my wife. He’s with my father, both of them laughing while she suffers.
“Going somewhere, son?” My father asks. “Did you forget we have a meeting?”
I ignore him too, my fist swinging before I can stop myself. “You,” I growl. “How could you?”
