“You should be ashamed of yourself,” I spot, disgusted by him and his lack of concern for Aeliana. How did he let other people tell him about his daughter? “You don’t deserve to be called a father, not hers, not after you failed to protect her.”

“It’s your fault,” I point at Gamma Bryan. “You didn’t listen, you fucking let-“I’m swinging before I finish my sentence, but my punch doesn’t connect, Maddox pulls me back once again.

“Forget it,” he groans in disapproval. “You’re hurting the wrong man, let’s find the right one.”

“What has gotten into you?” Gamma Bryan gasps, touching his nose. He deserves more than just a broken nose, I should kill him for treating Aeliana the way that he did.

I never thought Aeliana would be courageous enough to tell him about the fake videos, but, she did, and he now believes her, he looked livid and the moment he left, Seraphine started panicking and saying things that no one should hear.
