Chapter 387 Gifts and Preparations.
Nira’s POV:
“I have something for you, too,” Edmund said, walking on my other side.

Flanked by Edmund and Gordon, I was led downstairs to the basement. There, a line of staff in crisp uniforms stood neatly, each holding a sleek gift box.
“Sweetheart, these are all welcome presents from your grandpa,” Gordon announced, giving a slight nod. The head butler stepped forward and began opening the boxes one by one.
The first contained a set of keys. “These are for the most exclusive gated community in the

The third box held stock certificates. “Five percent of the Hudson Group. Starting today, you’re a sitting member of the board.”
I was speechless, my eyes stinging with emotion. “Grandpa… this is too much…”
“This is nothing!” Edmund cut in, clapping his hands loudly. A team of sturdy pack guards carried over several heavy safes. “My gifts are where it gets real.”
The safes were opened in turn, their contents nearly blinding under the light.
“This is a pigeon’s blood ruby necklace-one of a kind in the world.
“This set of emerald has been in the family for generations. It was meant for your mother, but now it goes directly to you.
“And all these diamond pieces-from my private collection over the years. They’re yours now.”
Faced with that mountain of treasures, I finally let the tears fall. I turned and buried myself in Gordon’s embrace. “Grandpa… Uncle… I’m just… so happy…”
Gordon patted my back gently, his voice thick. “Silly girl, this is only the beginning. I’m throwing the most lavish banquet this city has seen-to announce to everyone that the Hudson family’s princess has come home.”

Kade stood at the edge of the room, watching Nira surrounded by her family, a warm smile on
his face.
Desmond nudged him with an elbow. “What, jealous?”
Kade shook his head, his expression soft. “I’ve never been happier for anyone. She finally found her real family.”
That evening, Kade was “politely” escorted to a guest room, while Nira was settled into the most luxurious suite in the main residence.
Nira’s POV:
Late that night, my phone buzzed with a message from Kade.
“Your guards have me pinned outside the garden. Help, my future Luna.”
I couldn’t help but laugh. Sneaking out onto the balcony, I spotted Kade looking utterly pathetic among the rose bushes, a leaf tangled in his hair.
All trace of the Alpha King’s heir was gone-he just looked sweet and silly.
Holding back a giggle, I tiptoed toward the stairs to rescue him.
But just as I reached the staircase, I found Gordon, Edmund, and Desmond lined up on the living room sofa, all staring right at me.
“Going somewhere, sweetheart?”
“It’s pretty late. What’s the plan?”
“Nira, it’s windy out. Probably best to stay in.”
My heart sank.
Well, looked like Kade was spending the whole night in the garden.
Word spread fast about the Hudsons hosting a major banquet, and high society quickly went into a frenzy.

“Have you heard? The Hudsons suddenly have a daughter!”
“They say Gordon personally had the rarest jewels brought in for her.”

Though the Hudsons had settled in Meridia later than some of the old families, they were a powerful aristocratic line with deep roots. They’d done major favors for Meridia’s Alpha King lineage in the past, earning lasting respect across the region.
As soon as the news broke, every prominent family sent people digging for information on this mysterious heiress-hoping to get close to the Hudsons. But everyone hit a dead end.
The entire Hudson household kept quiet; even the staff who usually loved to talk didn’t let a word slip.
“I can’t find anything. Not a trace,” Brody Ashford, heir to the Wildgust Pack, muttered in frustration. “Where did she even come from?”
“I reached out to some of the Hudson Group board members-they didn’t know either,” added his mother Linda, fanning herself lightly. “Out of nowhere, there’s a new member with five percent of the shares!”
Three days before the banquet, reporters were already camped outside Hudson Manor.
One photographer managed to snap shots of luxury cars rolling through the gates, delivering stacks of elegant, high-end gift boxes.
“Breaking!” a reporter whispered excitedly into his phone. “The Hudsons just had a custom concert grand flown in-apparently for the heiress!”
Meanwhile, inside the manor, the family was deep in preparations for Nira’s debut gown.
“This design is too plain-it won’t do,” Gordon said, shaking his head. “This is my granddaughter’s first appearance. She needs to take everyone’s breath away.”
Edmund scrolled through designs on his tablet. “What about this crystal-embellished gown? We could pair it with that blue diamond necklace we acquired at auction last year…”

Nira’s POV:
All the fuss was starting to make my head spin. While they were busy debating another outfit change, I stole a moment to text Kade.
