Nira's POV:

"She's insane?" Janice stared in disbelief, eyes wide.

"How does someone just go crazy out of nowhere? This is just you useless maids trying to slack off!"

Her wolf eyes flared as she glared at the trembling maid.

"It's true," the maid cried, dropping to her knees. "She really lost it. We all saw her. Reese already took her away."

Janice finally lowered her hand, letting out a cold snort. "What about Nira? What happened to her?"

"Nira?" the maid answered, confused. "She's fine. She's been in her room the whole time." She knew immediately what that meant. Rhea hadn't managed to do anything.

She had humiliated herself like that today, and I was completely untouched. The thought drove her insane.

"You're all worthless," Janice screamed. "You can't even handle one simple task. What good are you!"

Her face darkened as she grabbed the maid with her wolf claws and dragged her away.

I turned and went back to my room. Rhea had gone completely unhinged, waving a knife around and trying to carve her own skin off. Multiple servants saw it.

My father, that cold, ruthless Alpha, ordered her expelled from the Blazeborn Pack almost immediately.

Not long after, the Omega maid who always stayed by Janice's side and helped her do dirty work disappeared as well.

Rumors spread quickly among the staff. People whispered that Janice had driven Rhea insane, and that the missing maid had been torn apart by her wolf.

Fear settled over the entire estate. I was reading in my room when I heard all of it.

Mina had already been killed by them. After all this time, any evidence would have been destroyed. There was no way to get justice through official channels.
