He Gave Her My Eyes A Story of Final Sight novel Chapter 132

After the first lap, all three riders were still side by side. Watching from the sidelines, Helena felt her heart pounding with excitement.

A few meters behind her, Warren was holding an umbrella over Garry and couldn’t stop talking about Theresia. “Garry, I had no idea Teresa could ride like that. I’ve never seen a woman handle a horse so well. I wonder who taught her.”

Garry’s icy stare cut straight through him, making Warren shiver.

Had he messed up again? Why did Garry seem even moodier than usual these days?

Warren decided to keep his mouth shut. It was safer that way.

On the field, Theresia and Dave started to pull ahead of Jared. Their horses were flying across the grass, wind in their hair. Dave looked over, his eyes shining with admiration.

“Teresa, show me what you’ve really got!”

Theresia flashed a grin. “Alright, Dave, don’t blame me for going all out.”

She kicked up the pace. As they rounded the last lap, Theresia was a full horse ahead of Dave. But suddenly, something felt wrong. No matter how she tugged the reins, the horse wouldn’t listen. It veered off the track, letting out a pained scream.

The horse was wild now, galloping straight toward a patch of untamed forest. If it made it into the trees, who knew what would happen.

Theresia’s face went white. She tried to pull the horse back under control, but as she looked up, she caught a glimpse of a man not far away, worry written all over his face.

It was Garry.

He was holding something, looking like he was ready to jump in.

In that split second, a stone shot out and struck the horse’s front leg. With a heavy thud, the horse crashed to its knees.

Theresia was thrown from the saddle. She hit the ground hard and rolled a few meters, ending up sprawled on the grass, her body aching all over.

“Tessie, stay with me.”

The way he said it was so gentle, it almost didn’t sound like him. Even Helena, who thought she’d seen it all, was stunned.

Was this really the same guy? And did he just call her Tessie?

Helena and Hanson had never used that nickname. She’d been about to step in like Jared, but now she thought better of it.

She hurried after Garry, stopping in front of a luxury car as he tossed her the keys. “You drive.”

By the time Helena realized what was happening, Garry was already in the back seat with Theresia in his arms.

Helena couldn’t help thinking, where did Theresia find this guy? There was something about him that was both terrifying and impossible to ignore.
