He Gave Her My Eyes A Story of Final Sight novel Chapter 181

A few days passed.

Garry had mostly recovered. He stood in front of the tall window, buttoning the last button on his shirt, just as Warren handed him his suit jacket.

While Garry straightened his clothes, Warren spoke up. “Garry, I heard GlobalSpan Logistics wants to sell thirty percent of their stake in Kingsport. Everyone’s saying this woman who paints is way out of her depth trying to get into shipping. They're calling her crazy.”

Garry clipped on his sapphire cufflinks and smirked. “They have no idea what they’re talking about.”

Warren frowned, clearly not following. “Why do you say that? Honestly, I think Teresa did amazing just getting Kingsport from Lawrence. Those JPMorgan loan rates must’ve been brutal. She probably thought she could handle it, but now she’s stuck. Garry, should we help her?”

Garry looked sharp and full of energy. He smiled. “Of course we’re going to help.”

Warren hurried after him, grinning. “I knew you wouldn’t just watch from the sidelines.”

Garry slipped on a pair of expensive leather shoes, his eyes lighting up. “She wants to sell thirty percent, right? Get in touch with GlobalSpan Logistics. Tell them we’re interested too.”

Warren just blinked, totally lost. “Wait, what does that actually mean?”

Garry shot him an annoyed look. “Are you saving your brain for your will or something?”

Warren just stared, still confused.

Soon enough, it was the day of the Harrisburg Academy of Fine Arts anniversary celebration.

Manley had already invited Theresia as a special guest, and she showed up right on time.

Standing in front of the campus, this place that so many art students dreamed about, she felt a swell of emotion.

She’d been just one year away from graduating from here.

His eyes were sharp and confident. Even just standing there, Garry had this presence that made everyone around him fade into the background. His tailored suit, the way he carried himself, he looked more impressive than all the flowers blooming in the garden.

The college guy took one look and bolted.

Theresia couldn’t help laughing.

Garry raised his eyebrows. “Teresa, you really are something. Even college kids fall for you at first sight.”

Theresia shot back in his teasing tone. “And you, Garry, you scared him off so fast I thought he’d trip over his own feet.”

Garry puffed out his chest, pretending to be proud. “So, you’re here for the anniversary?”

Theresia nodded, smiling. “You too, Garry?”
