“Me what?” Sierra snapped, instantly shifting her target to Victoria. “And you! Look at yourself, acting like a complete shrew. With that bitter, malicious look on your face, you’re the textbook definition of an evil mother-in-law. It’s disgusting just looking at you.”

“How dare you!” Victoria shrieked, losing all composure. “You uneducated, foul-mouthed brat! Did your parents never teach you to respect your elders?”

“Respect my elders?” Sierra shot back without missing a beat. “So you actually know you’re old? You’ve already got one foot in the grave, so why don’t you spend whatever time you have left acting like a decent human being instead of bringing shame to your age?”

Infuriated, Victoria raised her hand to strike.

Jasmine quickly pulled Sierra back. The slap missed Sierra’s face, but it didn’t land on Jasmine either- because Caleb intercepted it.

Grabbing Victoria by the wrist, Caleb gave her a violent shove. Victoria went flying backward, tumbling straight toward the floor. Silas rushed over as fast as he could to catch her, but he was too late. Victoria landed hard, flat on her backside.

Silas finally snapped. At this point, he couldn’t care less about offending Caleb.

“Caleb! You’ve gone way too far!”

Caleb didn’t even have to open his mouth before Sierra shut Silas down.

“Silas, your own wife was just cornered and bullied by a room full of people, and you stood there doing absolutely nothing. Are you even a man? The moment your family gets touched, you jump up barking like a dog, but when your wife is the one getting hurt, you play dead. By your logic, I guess she just deserved it!

Silas opened his mouth to speak, but Sierra cut him off again.

“And another thing! Your father-in-law is lying upstairs right now in critical condition, fighting for his life. and what are you doing? You’re down here playing grab-ass with this bitch! Have you no shame? Are you completely heartless? Silas, you are an absolute scumbag. A spineless, miserable excuse for a human being!

Silas’s face turned a dangerous shade of ash. “Sierra! Keep your filthy mouth shut! Don’t think for a second ‘I won’t hit you just because you’re a woman!”

Sierra didn’t back down an inch. “You’re the one doing these disgusting, vile things, and you expect people to speak nicely to you?” She thrust her face forward. “Go ahead! Try it! Let’s see everyone watch Silas Vance beat a woman!”

Furious as he was, Silas hadn’t completely lost his mind. “I’m not wasting my time arguing with a crazy shrew like you!”

Sierra trailed off, pointedly glancing back at Jasmine. Bound by their deep bond, Jasmine immediately knew what her friend wanted to say and gave a subtle nod of permission.

With the green light, Sierra let the rest of it fly.

“All that garbage about loving Julian so much that you wanted to carry on his legacy through a donor? Pure, unadulterated bullshit!” Sierra jabbed a finger directly at Felicity’s face. “Your husband is dead, and you’re pregnant with another man’s baby, and you call that honoring your husband’s memory? Who the hell do you think you’re fooling!”

Sierra then whipped her finger toward Silas, her voice echoing furiously through the entire room.

“The two of you have been sneaking around behind everyone’s backs for God knows how long, so stop pretending you’re taking the high road! A brother lusting after his sister-in-law, and a woman seducing her husband’s brother-your family is a complete den of degeneracy! You’re all shameless, toxic hypocrites!

The outburst left Madeline’s face flushing from red to white. She wanted to fire back, but the words trapped themselves in her throat. Their dirty laundry was being aired for everyone to see, and she was utterly powerless to stop it. If this scandal leaked out, the fallout would be catastrophic, and the Vance Group would take a massive financial hit.

Before Sierra could say another word, Caleb gently covered her mouth. He smirked and gave her a playful wink. “Take a breather, babe, you’ve done enough heavy lifting. Besides, there’s no use talking to them. They won’t understand a word you’re saying.”

“True,” Sierra muttered. “Animals don’t speak human.”

Caleb turned his gaze to Silas, a faint, mocking smile on his lips. “Mr. Vance, if you’re so eager to throw Jasmine away, why not do us both a favor and hand her over to me?”

Silas’s expression darkened instantly. “Mr. Grant, what kind of sick joke is this?” he growled.

Caleb slipped right back into his usual nonchalant demeanor. “You’ve got a priceless diamond right in front of you, yet you’re completely blind and treat her like a piece of cheap gravel. Honestly, man, you should get your eyes checked.”

Barely containing his boiling rage, Silas snapped, “I don’t need you telling me what my own wife is like!”

“Well, let me be upfront with you then,” Caleb said smoothly. “I actually had a massive crush on Jasmine a long time ago. She just wasn’t interested. Who could’ve guessed she’d end up falling for a blind fool like you?”

Silas stiffened slightly, letting out a cold sneer. “So you’ve had impure intentions toward my wife all along.”

“They were perfectly pure, actually. I’m not like you-I don’t get off on messing around with married women,” Caleb countered. Then, deliberately looping an arm around Jasmine’s shoulders, he added, “I originally thought that if we couldn’t be lovers, we could at least be friends, and I’d look after her like a little sister. But looking at things now… it seems like I might actually have a shot after all.”

He glanced over at Sierra and smirked. “Babe, would you mind if I dumped you to go after Jasmine?”
