Chapter 133 No One Scolded Her
To everyone’s surprise, Chloe threw a massive tantrum, turned on her heel, and stormed out of the room The guest of honor had just abandoned a full table of guests and walked out on her own party
Yet, despite her incredibly rude behavior, no one scolded her.
Instead. Madeline smiled fondly. “That girl has been so spoiled by us. Just let her go. Let’s treat tonight as regular family gathering and enjoy ourselves.”
The rest of the relatives chimed in with their agreement, seeing no issue with it.
Jasmine just shook her head in sheer disbelief.
She couldn’t help but think that if she ever had a daughter who acted like that, she would slap herself first for being a terrible parent, and then she would give the ungrateful brat a proper beating.
Chloe’s departure barely made a ripple.
Everyone kept enjoying the food and chatting away, keeping the atmosphere lively. The only exception was Jasmine, who found herself completely iced out. Since the Vance family clearly didn’t care for her, the extended relatives followed suit, treating her with total disdain.
It didn’t take Jasmine long to notice that Felicity seemed entirely different today. On top of wearing an exceptionally sexy, captivating outfit, her voice was noticeably softer and gentler. She sat right next to Silas, chatting with Madeline, and whenever she laughed, she leaned her entire body into him, looking as though she wanted nothing more than to melt right into his embrace. Silas smiled along, looking at her with pure, doting affection. At one point, Felicity hand-fed him a piece of dessert, and he ate it without a second thought. Watching the two of them, Madeline beamed with absolute delight.
Jasmine found herself losing her appetite completely. It wasn’t out of jealousy; she was simply disgusted. Not a single person in this family was in their right mind.
Once everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, the gathering began to break up. Jasmine noticed that Silas’s face was unusually flushed, but she didn’t give it much thought, assuming he’d just had too much to drink
When Jasinine announced she was leaving, Silas casually asked, “Do you need a ride?”
Before Jasmine could even answer, Madeline chimed in. “Silas, you and Felicity have to go to the hospital to visit the baby in a little bit
Without another word, Jasmine just walked away.
Halfway through her drive, she suddenly remembered something She still hadn’t picked up the necklace she had asked Celestial Garden to hold for her Knowing the restaurant belonged to Ethan and his family she hadn’t been in any rush to grab it, but she figured she might as well swing back and get it today
Jasmine turned the steering wheel, pulling a U-turn to head back to the hotel
She pulled into the garage and got out of her car. Turning around, she spotted a limited-edition SUV parked diagonally across from her-it was Silas’s car. The windows were rolled up tight, and the vehicle

was rocking slightly. The soundproofing was impressive; even though things were clearly passionate inside, not a single sound made it out.
Jasmine initially intended to just walk away, having absolutely no desire to witness such a repulsive unsightly scene. But after taking a few steps, a mischievous smirk crossed her face.
How could she possibly pass up something this entertaining?
She walked over to the SUV and rapped her knuckles against the window.
The rocking stopped instantly. It took a few moments for the rear window to finally roll down-naturally. they needed time to presentable.
By then, however, Jasmine had already vanished.
With her hair a disheveled mess and her collar wide open, Felicity writhed restlessly, clearly irritated by the interruption. Her voice was thick with seduction. “Silas, you must have misheard. No one’s knocking on the window.”
The window rolled right back up.
Silas felt his sanity slowly slipping back into place.
What was wrong with him today? How had he lost control so completely out of nowhere?
He caught Felicity’s hands, pinning her roaming, provocative fingers. “Felicity, stop… your body hasn’t fully recovered yet…”
Paying him no mind, Felicity simply leaned down.
The man drew in a sharp, sudden breath.
A wave of sheer, overwhelming ecstasy hit him instantly, obliterating whatever little reason he had left His initial reluctance crumbled into eager compliance. Despite the freezing weather outside, the temperature inside the car instantly skyrocketed.
After picking up her necklace, Jasmine went straight to the hospital.
Arthur was recovering quite well, which filled Jasmine with a profound sense of gratitude She truly couldn’t imagine how she would have coped with the sheer devastation if her father had actually passed away and left her behind.
Hugh was the only one in the hospital room, completely absorbed in his video game with one leg slung over the arm of the sofa. It seemed the fallout from her parents’ fight hadn’t blown over yet, Eleanor had been showing up even less frequently than Hugh.
As soon as Jasmine walked in, Hugh started complaining “Well, look who finally decided to show up Where have you been the last couple of days, Miss Devoted Daughter? You didn’t even come check on Dad, leaving me to hold down the fort all by myself!”
Jasmine walked right over and kicked his leg. “Drop the attitude when you talk to me.”
