Chapter 241 The Jasmine Necklace
Chapter 241 The Jasmine Necklace
The moment Jasmine stepped inside, Caleb gestured for her to come over.
She walked up to him, curious.
“Give me your hand,” Caleb said.
With a slight smile, Jasmine held out her hand. “What’s going on?”
Caleb let out a soft burp.
“Palm up,” he instructed.
Jasmine complied, still unsure what he was up to.

Caleb placed his closed fist over her open palm. When he opened his hand, a delicate necklace lay across her skin.
It was beautifully crafted and truly unique-a white jasmine-shaped pendant held a tiny pink diamond at its center. Though small, the gem added a perfect touch of elegance.
Jasmine couldn’t hold back her words. “It’s absolutely stunning.”
Behind her, Ethan’s gaze locked onto the necklace.
How had it ended up with Caleb?
Three years ago, hadn’t he….
Was Caleb keeping something from him?
Caleb gently shifted Sierra aside, stood up, and strolled over to Ethan, leaning casually against him.
“Ethan…”
He trailed off, then turned back to Jasmine.
“It’s for you.”
Jasmine was genuinely taken aback. “Why are you giving me a necklace all of a sudden?”
“Take a look at the back of the pendant,” Caleb said.
Jasmine examined it-there, finely engraved, was the letter J.
For Jasmine’s J?
“Came across it by chance and thought it would suit you,” Caleb explained. “So I picked it up.”
Jasmine wasn’t buying it.

Chapter 241 The Jasmine Necklace
A jasmine pendant with a custom J? That was no accidental find.
Still, no matter where it came from, she couldn’t just accept it.
“I can’t take this. Please, keep it.”
Caleb threw an arm around Ethäni’s shoulder.
“If you don’t want it, toss it. Really, I don’t mind.”
Jasmine almost laughed in disbelief. “Are you serious? You spent money on it. Why would you just throw it away?”
“I offered it to you and you refused,” Caleb replied, shrugging. “What else should I do with it? Give it to some other girl?”
He rolled his eyes playfully.
“Honestly, you’re the only one I know whose name starts with J. So if you won’t take it, I guess it goes in the trash.”
Jasmine obviously wasn’t going to throw it away.
She wasn’t one to waste things-even if it wasn’t outrageously expensive, she wouldn’t just trash it.
After a brief pause, she suggested, “How about this? Tell me how much you paid, and I’ll buy it from you.”
She really did like the necklace.
Caleb glanced sideways at Ethan, a sly grin forming.
“Not too much. Fifty grand.”
“Fifty thousand?” Jasmine’s eyes widened. “You call that not much?”
“Even fifty was a friend’s discount,” Caleb insisted. “Honestly, it’s one of a kind.”
Jasmine shook her head firmly. “Then I definitely can’t accept it. Just take it back.”
Caleb shrugged again. “Alright, fine. Trash it is.”
Before she could react, he took the necklace from her hand and lifted his arm as if to throw it toward the wastebasket.
Jasmine instinctively reached out-was he really about to do that?
What a complete waste!
But Ethan moved even faster. In one smooth motion, he caught Caleb’s wrist and took the necklace back.
He held it in his palm, studying it quietly.

For a moment, he looked thoughtful, almost conflicted, but soon his usual gentle expression returned
“Fifty thousand isn’t a big deal,” Ethan said calmly. “I’ll cover it for her.”
Caleb’s smile turned mischievous. “If you’re buying, then it’s more than fifty.”
Ethan didn’t seem bothered. “How much more?”
“That new sports car you just bought,” Caleb said without missing a beat.
Ethan nodded. “Deal.”
Caleb snapped his fingers. “Done!”
Jasmine stood there stunned.
Oh my god that is the most lopsided trade ever!
Ethan’s new sports car was worth millions. This necklace wasn’t even worth one of its tires.
She felt a pang of guilt. “Ethan, you can’t be serious. Trading a car for a necklace? You loved that car.”
Ethan looked completely at ease. “It’s just a car. I can always get another. But this necklace… there’s only one like it.”
Jasmine frowned. “What do you mean only one? You could have another made easily.”
Ethan paused briefly. “No, you can’t.”
“Why not?”
He didn’t answer.
