“What did he say?” Jasmine asked impatiently the second he hung up.

“Mr. Crawford is reaching out to him now. We just have to wait for an update.”.

“I feel terrible interrupting Mr. Crawford so late at night,” Jasmine said apologetically.

Ethan smiled. “Don’t worry about it. He already gave me an earful for calling, so we’re even.”
