I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 132

Chapter 132

Thalia, I’ve wanted these earrings forever,” Miya said, enduring the pain as she stared straight at her “You can’t just make up some excuse and take them from me.”

Thalia’s eyes turned red with anger. She suddenly grabbed Miya’s hair and held her in place, then snatched the box right out of her arms.

“Give it back to me!” Miya cried out, but Wendy shoved her away hard.

“Give it back? Are you serious?” Wendy snapped. “Darion paid for it, so it’s their marital property. What makes you think you have any right to it?” As she spoke, Wendy slapped Miya across the face again.

Miya stumbled back, her hair a mess and her cheeks swollen red. If anyone walked by right now, they’d probably think she was the victim here. She burst into tears.

“Thalia, please, I’m begging you,” she sobbed. “Just give them to me. These earrings are really important to me. They belonged to my grandfather and they got lost years ago. I finally found them and I just want to honor his memory.”

Thalia opened the box and looked at the sapphire earrings lying inside. She snapped the lid shut without giving Miya another glance and walked away.

Wendy followed right behind her.

“Thalia!” Miya called out desperately. She wanted to chase after them, but she looked so disheveled that going outside would make her a laughingstock.

She looked at Darion helplessly. “Darion, what do I do? My grandfather’s keepsake, I finally found it after all this time.” Darion frowned as he watched the whole scene unfold. Something dark flickered in his eyes, and he stayed quiet for a long moment before finally speaking. “I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you some other way.”

Miya hung her head and cried, but her eyes flashed with calculation. ‘We’re even? Not a chance,’ she thought.

In the car, Thalia let out a long breath.

Wendy couldn’t hold back. “That was so satisfying! We got the earrings back, and that witch got slapped into next week. But I’m still confused about why she said they were her grandfather’s keepsake when they’re clearly from your grandma!”

Thalia stared at the earrings in the box, and her thoughts tangled up.

Something about the whole situation felt off, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. She closed the box and tucked it away. “I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter anymore. Grandma’s been wanting these back. I’ll take them to her when I get a chance.”

“Sounds good.”

Thalia and Wendy went to grab dinner, but they ran into Darion and Miya at the restaurant.

Miya’s eyes were red and swollen from crying. Darion sat across from her with a blank expression on his face and said something to her.

“Ugh, so unlucky. Let’s get out of here,” Wendy said and grabbed Thalia’s arm to leave.

But Thalia shook her head. “Why should we leave? I want to eat here.”

She pushed through the door and walked inside She talked to the server, and her voice carried just loud enough for Darion and Miva to hear

Darion’s head snapped up, and his eyes locked onto her face.

Thalia smirked at them and followed the server to a private booth.

Wendy flipped them off and mouthed something that was definitely not nice.

Miya bit her lip when she saw this. “Darion, I don’t know why Thalia always misunderstands me like this. I never did anything to hurt her.”
