Chapter 150
Darion’s eyes fixed on her Thalia, we used to come here all the time,” he said. “Did you forget?”
Thalia fell silent.
Darion looked down at Keith in his arms. “What do you want to eat?” he asked.
Keith had already spotted the food on the table. His eyes lit up as he pointed at each dish. “Darry, I want these,” he said
Darion called over a server and requested another place setting. He ordered a few more dishes as well.
Clinton sat across from them, completely ignored.
He cleared his throat. “Ahem,” he said, reminding them he was still there.
Thalia glanced at him. “I’m sorry,” she said apologetically. This meal isn’t going very well.”
Clinton gave an awkward smile. “Actually, I think it’s fine,” he said.
He shifted uncomfortably and looked at Darion. “Mr. Blackburn, hello. My name is Clinton Howard. I’m-”
“Their desserts here are amazing.” Darion interrupted without even glancing at Clinton. He kept his attention on Thalia. “Why didn’t you order any this time?”
Thalia ignored him completely. She stood up. “Mr. Howard, are you finished eating?” she asked. “I can give you a ride home.”
Clinton didn’t want to leave. This was such a rare chance to connect with Darion Blackburn.
‘I’m not quite-” Clinton tried to stay.
Thalia frowned slightly. She understood what he was trying to do. She looked at Darion. “This is our department’s new manager, Clinton Howard,” she said.
This time, Darion’s gaze shifted to Clinton’s face.
Clinton immediately straightened in his seat. His expression turned humble and respectful. “Mr. Blackburn, it’s an honor to meet you,’ he said.
Darion’s handsome face remained expressionless. His eyes turned cold.
He asked coolly, “Why are you having lunch with my wife?”
Clinton froze “Huh?”
Thalia frowned at Darion. “He helped me last night,” she explained. “I’m treating him to lunch as a thank you.”
Darion turned to her immediately. “I helped you too,” he pointed out. “I took you to the hospital. I dealt with those two guys. Why don’t you thank me properly?”
Thalia stayed silent.
Seriously, she thought. ‘If you’re sick, go see a doctor. Stop coming here looking for attention.”
Clinton sat across from them. He could feel the tension rising between them.

Chapter 150
He suddenly regretted staying. Thalia, I’m done eating,” he said quickly “I should get going.”
Thalia offered, “Let me send you home”
‘No, no need, Clinton refused. He waved his hands nervously. “Goodbye, Mr. Blackburn.”
He left the restaurant in a hurry.
Thalia was trapped in the booth. She couldn’t even stand up to see Clinton out.
She looked at Darion. “Happy now?” she asked. “You scared him off.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Did I scare him?” he asked innocently.
He glanced down at Keith. “Did Darry scare anyone?”
