Chapter 151
The cup was too big for him. Keith held it with both hands, but his grip was shaky.
Thalia saw him struggling and took the cup from him, but her expression remained cold.
Keith looked at her timidly. “Tally, you didn’t say thank you,” he pointed out.
Thalia fell silent.
She almost wanted to laugh at his words. She looked down at him. “You’re not scared of me anymore?” she asked.
Keith studied her cold face. He used to be afraid, but now he wasn’t. He shook his head honestly. “No,” he said.
Thalia let out a scornful laugh. “Just wait until I call the big bad wolf to come get you,” she threatened. “Then you’ll be
scared.”
Keith shook his head again. “Darry will chase the big bad wolf away,” he said confidently.
Thalia had no response.
‘I must be losing my mind, she thought. ‘Why am I even talking to this annoying kid?”
Thalia looked at Darion. “Move,” she said. “I’m going home.”
Darion shifted slightly but didn’t get up. “I haven’t eaten,” he said. “I don’t have the energy.”
She stared at him in disbelief.
Keith carefully wiped his small hands with a warm towel before he started eating.
He took small bites and chewed slowly. He didn’t grab at the food or make a mess. His table manners were surprisingly good for a child.
Thalia watched him for a moment longer than she meant to.
Darion noticed her attention. His gaze flickered downward briefly before he looked away.
“I’m planning to take custody of Keith,” he said.
Thalia raised an eyebrow at him. “Turn your nephew into your son?” she asked. “That’s pretty clever of you.”
Darion frowned. He looked at her with clear frustration. “I’m talking about custody,” he explained. “I didn’t say I’d make him my son. He’s my brother’s kid.”
Thalia let out a bitter laugh. “What’s the difference?” she asked. “To him, you’re basically his dad anyway.”
Keith had never met his father. Darion was the closest thing he had to one.
Darion looked at her mocking expression and spoke seriously. “I’m going to have my own kids,” he said. “I don’t need to raise my brother’s son as my own.”
Thalia’s face remained indifferent. “Good for you,” she said.
“You agree?” he asked.

Chapter 151
She watched in confusion as he suddenly got excited.
Thaha frowned. “Agree to what? she asked
Darion leaned forward. Let’s have a baby,” he said.
Thalia nearly lost it. She stared at him like he’d lost his mind. “Are you insane?” she snapped. “After everything that’s happened, you’re senously suggesting we have a kid together?
“What did I do to you in a past life? Did I burn down your family estate or something? Is this your idea of revenge?”
Thalia.” Darion sighed, his voice weary. “You’ve always wanted a child, haven’t you?” he said.
I’ve always wanted a divorce too,” she fired back. “But you won’t give me that either, will you?”
Silence fell between them.
