When Miya saw Thalia, she grabbed her hand and dragged her toward the stairwell.

Thalia’s face instantly turned cold. “What are you doing? Let go!”

But Miya held on tightly, her face twisted with emotion.

Once they reached the stairwell, she finally let go of Thalia’s hand, her eyes red as she asked, “Lia, did you deliberately go see Sebastian before me?”

Thalia crossed her arms and let out a mocking laugh. “Deliberately? The best person wins. If you can’t pull it off, that’s on

you, not me.”

Miya bit her lip and said, “Darion already promised he’d let me reach out to the Flynn Group and push for a partnership between the Coleman Group and them. Lia, why would you mess things up for me?”

As she spoke, Thalia’s face grew even colder, and her eyes were filled with even more disgust.

The guy stared at Thalia in shock, then quickly pulled out his phone to call an ambulance and the police.

Thalia shook her head. ‘It wasn’t me. I didn’t push her.”

But the guy shot back, “Come on, if it wasn’t you, you expect me to believe she just fell down the stairs by herself? Is she an diot or something?”

Thalia was speechless.

The whole mess blew up, and all the big bosses showed up. Bradley Cooper scratched his head, clearly annoyed. This was way over his head, so he could only call Darion for help.

The ambulance and Darion showed up almost at the same time.

When Darion saw Miya out cold, his brows furrowed in concern. “What happened?”

The bystander instantly pointed at Thalia. “She pushed her down.”

Darion turned to her, eyes narrowed. “Was it you, Thalia?”

Thalia shook her head, her expression icy. “That’s ridiculous. I would never do something so pathetic.”
