Shyla’s cautious voice came from outside.

Darion’s voice was icy. “Are you saying she did something wrong? Did you actually see her push Miya?”

Shyla froze for a moment before saying, “But Miya wouldn’t hurt herself just to set Thalia up.”

“Maybe she just slipped, but Thalia would never do something like that,” Darion thought, his trust in Thalia unwavering.

Shyla looked like she wanted to say more.

Darion raised his hand, cutting her off. “Have Trenton come and apologize to Thalia. Otherwise, I won’t show any mercy to you all.”

Shyla stood in the hallway, completely flustered, her face pale as she hurried away.

“Trenton, what are we going to do? Darion is really angry. You were way too harsh with Thalia,” she said anxiously.

Trenton shrugged it off. “He’s just bluffing. I’m his father-in-law. If he actually tried to go after me, it’d be a joke to everyone. He’s the CEO of the Blackburn Group. He’d never do something that crazy.”
