Chapter 200
Trenton Coleman sat at the head of the table, listening as everyone talked over each other, his expression growing darker with every passing moment.
He was absolutely furious inside.
He never imagined Darion Blackburn would actually lay hands on him.
‘I’m his father-in-law!
‘How dare he?’
His secretary kept answering calls, and every time she hung up and looked over at him, she looked visibly uneasy.
The atmosphere in the conference room was suffocating.
Trenton Coleman shut his eyes briefly in frustration and said. “Alright, let’s adjourn for now. I’ll take care of this myself.”
With those words, he immediately rose to his feet and strode out of the conference room.
His secretary followed closely behind, speaking carefully, “Mr. Coleman, a few more business partners are saying they want to wait and see…”
Trenton Coleman dismissed her with a wave, his face grim. “Alright, I know.”
The secretary had no choice but to leave the office.
Trenton Coleman angrily swept everything off his desk, sending papers and pens crashing to the floor. He closed his eyes for a moment, then pulled out his phone and dialed Darion Blackburn’s number.
But to his surprise, it was Ryan Johnson, Darion’s assistant, who picked up.
“Mr. Coleman, is there something I can help you with?” Ryan’s tone was strictly professional.
Trenton Coleman demanded, “Where’s Blackburn? I want to speak to him directly!”
Ryan replied, “Mr. Blackburn is in a meeting right now. If you need anything, just let me know and I’ll make sure he gets the message.”
‘He won’t even take my call now?
‘Fine!’ Trenton thought, furious.
Trenton Coleman hung up without another word, then turned and stormed out of the office building.
Hospital room.
Thalia’s back wasn’t hurting as much anymore, but she still wasn’t allowed to lie down. She tried to leave, only to be stopped by the bodyguards.
Her face was pale, and her delicate brows drew together in annoyance. “What gives you the right to keep me here?

The bodyguard stood firm, dutiful as ever. “Mrs. Blackburn, Mr. Blackburn said you can’t leave the hospital until your injury is fully healed He’s only thinking of your well-being.”
Thalia clenched her fists, feeling stifled and helpless.
Just then, she heard voices coming from outside.
She glanced toward the door and, through the glass, saw Trenton Coleman.
His expression was grim.
The bodyguard stood in his way, face blank. “Mr. Coleman, are you here to apologize to Mrs. Blackburn?”
Trenton Coleman’s veins were throbbing with anger. “I’m here to see my daughter, let me through!”
But the bodyguard didn’t move. “You don’t seem like you’re here to apologize. Mr. Blackburn gave clear instructions. If you’re not here to apologize, we’re not allowed to let you in.”
Trenton Coleman was so furious he could practically cough up blood.
Damn bastards!
I’m the elder here!
This is killing me!’ Trenton fumed.
But right now, the Coleman Group was surrounded on all sides. If he didn’t put an end to this mess soon, it was only a matter of time before they went bankrupt.
It hit him just how ruthless Darion really was.
All that calm and gentle demeanor before, it was all just a facade.
Trenton Coleman stood at the door, his face as grim and dark as it could get.
He saw Thalia inside the hospital room; their eyes met through the glass, a silent confrontation between father and daughter.
But Thalia quickly broke eye contact, refusing to acknowledge him any further.
Damn brat!’ Trenton cursed to himself.
He spun around and walked off in a fury.
He went to Miya Coleman’s hospital room.
