Helen had stepped out of the villa and into the garden, her tone growing colder. “If you hadn’t done something so outrageous, Darion wouldn’t have sent you away. You’re not young anymore. Why can’t you just let go?”

Sandra snorted. “Let go? And just sit back while that jinx messes up our home? If we let her stay, she’ll bring nothing but bad luck to the Blackburns!”

“But it’s Darion who refuses to get a divorce,” Helen said, feeling a headache coming on. “Thalia has already filed for divorce, but he won’t agree. What can you do about it?”

Sandra sneered. “That’s only because she’s using some dirty tricks to bewitch Darion.”

Helen was speechless.

She really didn’t know what to say.

But right now, she had something important to say, and her expression grew more serious. “Mom, Darion is the CEO of Blackburn Group now. He’s my only son, and your only grandson. Please, stop saying those nasty things about her.”

Sandra snorted but didn’t say anything more.

“There’s something else. I’ve thought it over, and I figured you should hear it, just so you’re ready,” Helen said slowly.

“What is it?” Sandra asked, looking puzzled.

Helen said, “I also think Thalia isn’t right for the Blackburns. So here’s my idea: if Darion and Miya end up together, Darion will want the divorce himself, and Thalia will have to leave the family.”

“Absolutely not!” Sandra snapped, her voice sharp.

“Are you insane? You want my son to get involved with his sister-in-law? Do you want everyone to laugh at the Blackburn family? Helen, what kind of ridiculous idea is this? I’m telling you, I won’t allow it!”

“Then do you have any other ideas?” Helen’s tone grew even colder.

Sandra fell silent for a moment, but still insisted, “I won’t agree to this. It’s just too shameful. Even in death, I wouldn’t be able to face the Blackburn ancestors!”

“Mom, Darion’s feelings for Miya are different. He’s just gotten used to being with Thalia, that’s all.

“Once he’s really with Miya, he’ll want to divorce Thalia on his own. And you have no idea. Something happened before. Darion nearly lost his life!” Helen said, her voice tight with emotion.

She recounted the whole story to Sandra.

Sandra was left speechless, stunned for a long moment.

Helen let out a heavy sigh. “I really don’t have any other options right now. Thalia has already agreed to help. so please, don’t hold us back.”

Sandra’s resolve started to waver. “Will this really work?”

“We won’t know until we try,” Helen said with a bitter smile. “If there were any other way, I wouldn’t want to do this, but there isn’t. And Keith really depends on Darion. If the three of them live together, at least I’ll feel a

little more at ease.”

Even though she couldn’t stand Miya.

But right now, no other woman could get close to Darion, and Miya was the only one with a shot.
