As soon as Darion finished speaking, two bodyguards walked into Blackburn Manor and grabbed Miya’s arms.

Miya fought back with everything she had, desperately resisting. “No! Darion, you can’t do this to me! I had nothing to do with what happened that night! You can’t send me away, you can’t frame me!”

She fought like someone possessed, and when she couldn’t break free, she suddenly lowered her head and sank her teeth into a bodyguard’s hand.

She cried so pitifully, “I was the one who saved you back then, but you mistook me for Thalia. I never cared about that, because we were family. None of that was important. But then Thalia kept blaming me, and I always thought you believed in me, so I wasn’t scared.

“But now you’re sending me away, telling me I’ll never be allowed back. What did I do to deserve this? How could you treat me like this?”

She wailed, her voice hoarse and desperate, trying to get her son’s attention from inside his room.

But the soundproofing in Blackburn Manor was just too good. No matter how loud she screamed, Keith couldn’t hear a thing from his room.

Besides, his room was all the way up on the third floor.

Darion’s sharp brows furrowed, his face, usually so charming, still pale. He simply waved his hand.

The two bodyguards hauled Miya to her feet and dragged her out.

“No, no! Let me go! Let me go!” Miya screamed and struggled, but it was all for nothing.

“Darion, I really regret ever saving you! This is how you repay me? I never asked for much, but you never once fulfilled my requests. And now you’re sending me away? You ungrateful bastard, you’ll get what’s coming to you!”

Miya screamed and cursed, completely hopeless.

She was quickly shoved into the car, and as it pulled away from Blackburn Manor, she abruptly calmed down.

The bodyguards inside were tense, worried she might pull something crazy, but luckily, she didn’t cause any trouble all the way to the airport.
