Chapter 352
Thalia raised an eyebrow, then glanced at Sebastian. “Sebastian, I’m heading out.”
Sebastian let out a helpless sigh. “Sorry about all this. I didn’t expect you to get caught up in something like this.”
Thalia said, “I’ve already vented, so I’m not mad anymore. But you might have some trouble coming your way.”
“It’s nothing serious. She was the one making a scene first,” Sebastian replied. “I’m heading out too.”
With that, they went their separate ways.
When Thalia got home, her mind was a mess. Diana could tell right away that something was off.
“Thalia, what happened?” Diana asked, her voice full of concern.
Thalia washed her hands and sat down next to Diana. “I only found out today that the person who saved Darion all those years ago was actually Miya.”
Diana was clearly taken aback, then asked, “So who did you save?”
“Emely Blackburn,” Thalia replied.
As soon as Thalia spoke that name, the air grew still, and silence settled over the room.
On her way home, Thalia kept wondering, did Emely ever know about this?
Before Emely passed away, they met up pretty often. He was even the best man at Thalia’s wedding.
Diana gently stroked Thalia’s hair. “Now that you know the truth, why are you still upset?”
“I just don’t get why Darion kept this from me,” Thalia said, her brows knitting together.
Diana paused, then said, “Maybe he was just scared you’d find out and waver in your feelings for him?”
Thalia looked a bit lost for a moment, then said, “But I fell for him first. That’s why I went out of my way to save him.”
“Maybe he doesn’t see it that way,” Diana said gently. “I’m just guessing. You young folks and your complicated feelings. I can never really understand.”
Thalia’s mind was even more of a mess now.
“Let me take a shower and cool off for a bit,” she said.
“Alright, go on,” Diana said.

Verena ran to her mom, sobbing and tattling, spinning the story about Thalia and Sebastian, making it sound way more scandalous than it really was.
When Mrs. Flynn heard the story, her face went pale. The moment Sebastian walked in, she snapped, “Sebastian, when did you get involved with that woman? She’s still Darion’s wife. They’re not even divorced yet! Do you want the Blackburn Group to come after our family?”
Sebastian’s eyes turned cold as he shot a glare at Verena. “What did you say?”
Verena protested, “I just told her what I saw, that’s all!”
