“I’m doing well,” Diana replied with a gentle smile. Then she asked, “Sebastian, have you been busy lately? I haven’t seen you in a while.”

Sebastian said, “I’m fine. I knew you were back, but I didn’t want to disturb your rest, so I stayed away.”

“No worries, just drop by whenever you like. We can catch up,” Diana said, nodding.

“Since you said that, I’ll be visiting more. Hope you won’t find me annoying,” Sebastian joked.

“Of course not,” Diana replied right away. “Come by more often. I enjoy chatting with you, and you and Thalia get along well. You two should hang out more.”

“Alright,” Sebastian said.

Just then, Thalia walked out of her room, still wearing a mask.

“Sebastian, you’re here,” she said, her eyes lighting up.

Sebastian nodded. “Did we disturb you?”

“No, not at all. My room’s pretty soundproof,” Thalia replied with a gentle smile, her eyes crinkling at the corners. Her voice came out a little hoarse and muffled.

Sebastian said, “Hey, I just brought over some soup. Give it a try and let me know what you think.”

“Sure,” Thalia replied.

Alice had already poured out the soup. Thalia took a sip, then flashed him a thumbs-up. “Wow, this is delicious!”

Sebastian looked at her warmly. “If you like it, help yourself to more. It’s super nourishing. Should help you bounce back faster.”

“No way I’m leaving any behind,” Thalia said, sipping the soup slowly.

Just then, Sebastian’s phone rang. He answered it, then turned to Thalia. “Sorry, something just came up. I have to head out.”

“Okay,” Thalia replied.

Thalia walked him to the door.

Emely suddenly looked at her and said, “Just drop the thermos off at my place whenever you get a chance.”

“Alright,” Thalia replied.

Sebastian gave her a gentle smile. “Okay then, go get some rest. Don’t worry about seeing me out.”

After the door closed, Thalia put her mask back on.

Alice asked, “Ms. Coleman, would you like another bowl?”

“No, thanks,” Thalia replied.

Thalia looked a bit tired. “Could you please wash the thermos and take it over to his place for me?”

She turned and greeted Diana, then headed back to her room to rest.

After sleeping for several days straight, Thalia gradually regained her strength.

After getting ready that morning, Thalia gave Darion a call.

The phone rang three times before he picked up.

“Hello?”

His voice was warm and smooth, carrying that magnetic tone she knew so well.

Thalia asked, “Are you on a business trip?”

“No,” Darion replied simply. “Are you ready to go to City Hall for the divorce today?”

“Yeah, let’s go now,” Thalia said, her eyes lowering, her tone steady and calm.

Darion let out a low chuckle, then hung up right after.

Thalia’s brows knitted together. She thought about calling him again, but she’d already let him know. If he didn’t reply, that was on him. No need to chase after him for an explanation.

Since they were both determined to go through with the divorce, there shouldn’t be any surprises today.

Thalia stepped out to let Diana know she was heading out. Diana said, “Stay safe out there.”

“I will,” Thalia replied.

Thalia gave a gentle smile, grabbed her bag, and headed out the door.

Dax was driving, but as they got close to City Hall, there was construction up ahead, so they’d have to take a detour.

There was a small side street nearby they could use to get through.

Thalia didn’t want to bother with the detour and decided to just get out of the car. She said, “Let’s walk.”

Dax nodded. “Sure, that works.”
