Diana smiled and asked, “Now that you know it wasn’t him, what do you think?”

Thalia lowered her gaze, her long lashes trembling. “What difference does it make if it was him or not? It’s not like he hasn’t done things like this in the past.”

Diana let out a soft sigh. “But this time, you really did misjudge him. He even caught the guy and brought you there to see for yourself.”

Thalia instinctively tried to steer the conversation back. “Diana, let’s talk more about the housekeepers. I’m thinking about setting up some security cameras at home, and…”

She leaned in close to Diana’s ear and quietly shared what she had in mind.
