I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 397

Chapter 397

Thalia turned her face away, refusing to look at him.

The room fell silent. She picked up her phone and started playing a game, as if everything that just happened was nothing more than a fleeting moment. ‘It’s like that whole scene was just a blip. Thalia thought to herself.

Later that evening, Thalia headed back to Maplewood Estate to have dinner with Diana.

Diana asked, “How’s he doing now?”

Thalia replied, “His mental state is much better now.”

“That’s good,” Diana nodded. “Young people bounce back so quickly. They’re tough.”

Thalia grinned as she pulled out the divorce papers. “We’ve already signed these. Once he’s fully recovered, we’ll go get the divorce finalized.”

Diana smiled. “Looks like you two are finally on the same page about the divorce. That’s good.”

“Yeah, that’s right,” Thalia replied.

‘At least, that’s how it is for now, Thalia thought to herself.

Once everything was settled, they’d be officially divorced.

But all these matters were still a mystery. ‘When will all of this finally come to an end?’ Thalia wondered.

Sebastian had promised her that he’d help investigate.

And she was moving back to Rosewood Manor in the next few days./

He’d be returning to Rosewood Manor as well to recuperate once he started his recovery.

Thalia lowered her gaze, her thoughts a tangled mess.

“Mr. Flynn?”

Just then, the nanny’s voice called out from the doorway.

Thalia blinked in surprise and turned her head, spotting Sebastian at the door. He wore glasses, hts features gentle and handsome. “I made some desserts. Thought you and Diana might want to try them he said.

Diana’s face lit up with a smile. “Sebastian, you’re here! Come on in.”

Sebastian smiled softly, walked in, and set the box aside.

The nanny came in carrying a tray of water and fresh fruit.

Diana asked, “You’re home so early today?”

Yeah, work was pretty quiet,” Sebastian replied. “Thalia and I had already made plans to visit a friend th she had something come up last minute, so I headed home first.”

Diana looked at Thalia and said, “How could you stand him up like that?”

Thalia paused, then smiled wryly. “I really had something else to take care of. I didn’t mean to stand him up.”

Sebastian shook his head. “Diana, don’t go scolding her, otherwise she’ll think I came here just to tattle on

her.”

Diana burst out laughing. “Even if you do tattle, it’s fine. If she does anything wrong, I’ll set her straight.”

“Grandma…” Thalia looked at her helplessly. “Whose grandma are you, anyway, mine or his?”

Diana poked her gently. “You silly girl, when have I ever actually scolded you?”

The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, but Thalia’s mind was elsewhere.

Now that you’re here, Thalia said, “Sebastian, I need to talk to you about something work-related.”

“Alright,” Sebastian said.
