I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 403

Chapter 403

Thalia’s crystal-clear eyes took on a chill as she stared at him. “Are you planning to scold me again?”

“I…” Trenton faltered.

He felt a surge of anger, but his emotions were a tangled mess.

Thalia was drifting further and further away from them, but in their minds, they thought all that was behind them now.

Shyla could leave at any moment. When facing someone on the verge of death, even a few white lies

wouldn’t hurt.

At the very least, it would let Shyla leave with a little more peace, so she wouldn’t have any regrets.

“I know exactly what you’re thinking. Anyone can pretend to be a family, but I refuse,” Thalia said, her tone still icy. “I’ve suffered a lot over the years. Ever since I was ten, you stopped loving me. So why should I go along with your act now?”

Shyla silently shed tears, her eyes full of sorrow as she looked at Thalia. She never thought things would come to this, never imagined Thalia would say something like that.

Trenton’s face darkened. “We brought you into this world. Is this how you repay us?”

“I’m not your biological child,” Thalia said coldly.

Thalia pulled out the paternity test results. “You’ve always favored the others so much that I started to suspect I wasn’t your real daughter. So I got a DNA test, and the results proved it. I’m not.”

Diana froze, her eyes wide with shock as she looked at Thalia. “Thalia?”

Thalia’s features softened. “Diana, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you right away, but I think now is as good a time as

any.”

She squeezed Diana’s hand. “Instead of letting them use this excuse to push me around over and over, I’d rather just come clean about everything. There’s nothing tying me to them anymore, so they have no right to demand anything from me.”

“No way!” Shyla cried out.

She hadn’t even glanced at the paternity test yet, fixing Thalia with an intense, almost desperate stare.

“I know you blame us, but you can’t fool yourself with this kind of lie! You really are my daughter. When I was pregnant with you, I was so full of hope, and the delivery was long and exhausting. Even after more than twenty years, those moments are still vivid in my mind!”

Thalia looked up, seeing how serious Shyla was. “If you still don’t believe it, we can run another test.” Trenton picked up the documents and studied them carefully. The official seal was definitely authentic. ‘So Thalia really isn’t our biological daughter?’ Trenton’s thoughts spun wildly, disbelief hitting him hard.

Chapter 103

His face went slack for a moment. If that’s true… then where is our real daughter?”

Where did she end up?’ The question echoed in his mind, panic starting to creep in.

“Let me give you some advice. Don’t bother searching for your real daughter. Are you just going to bring her back so she can go through the same favoritism and pain I did?” Thalia shot them a mocking look, clearly seeing through their thoughts.

Thalia knew for sure they had no clue she wasn’t really their daughter.

So, the mix-up must’ve happened at the hospital when she was born. Over twenty years ago, medical facilities weren’t as advanced, and mistakes like this happened all the time.

“No, this can’t be happening… How could you not be my child…” Shyla kept shaking her head, her voice trembling with disbelief, refusing to accept the truth.
