I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 414

Chapter 414

The doctor gave Darion another check-up and said, “Just keep monitoring him. As long as the fever doesn’t return, there’s nothing to worry about.”

Thalia nodded and replied, “Okay.”

After the doctor left, Thalia checked the time and said, “It’s getting late. You should head home.”

But Bonnie insisted, “I’ll stay with you. That way, we can look out for each other tonight.”

Thalia replied, “What about your mom? Go home. I’ll text you tomorrow. If he’s still in the hospital, you can come back.”

Bonnie glanced at Darion, still unconscious on the bed, looking a little reluctant, but she nodded. “Okay, text me when you need me.”

“Okay,” Thalia replied.

“Bye, Thalia,” Bonnie said.

“See you,” Thalia replied.

The hospital room soon grew quiet.

Sleepiness washed over Thalia. She yawned, leaned back on the couch, and closed her eyes.

Something gently tickled her cheek, as if something soft was lightly tracing back and forth.

She tried to brush it away, but someone caught her hand.

Thalia froze, her eyes flying open. Darion was leaning over her, holding her wrist, her hand just inches from his cheek.

She blinked in confusion, then asked, “You’re awake?”

Darion teased, “Is this your way of looking after a patient?”

Thalia sat up, finally realizing he was still holding her wrist. She hurriedly pulled her hand back and said, “It’s the middle of the night. Shouldn’t you be sleeping? Can’t whatever you want to say wait until morning?”

Darion slowly straightened up and said, “Why don’t you take the bed?”

Thalia’s brows furrowed as she checked the time. It was three a.m., and dawn wasn’t far off.

She shook her head. “No, I’m not about to fight a patient for the bed.”

But Darion just turned and plopped down next to her. “I like the couch better.”

Thalia shot him a look. “Seriously, what’s wrong with you?”

Chapter 411

‘He has a whole bed to himself, and he wants to steal the couch from me? Unbelievable, Thalia thought.

Darion leaned toward her with a smirk. “What, are you trying to crawl into bed with me? Well then-”

Before he could finish, Thalia got up and headed straight for the bed, her face completely blank.

Darion was still leaning sideways, a faint smirk on his lips as he watched her. “Sleep well. You’ll need your energy to take care of me.”

Thalia turned her back on him, choosing to ignore him completely.

She really was exhausted, and the couch had been uncomfortable all night. As soon as her head touched the pillow, she drifted off almost instantly.

But in her sleepy haze, she felt the covers being tugged aside, and then a warm body pressed up against her from behind. He wrapped his arms around her, and she could feel his warmth spreading through her.

Thalia frowned and mumbled, “Get off me.”
