I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 426

Chapter 426

“Is that what you think?” Darion asked, his voice low and husky.

In the dim light, his eyes were full of turbulent emotion as he watched her face, still flushed from their kiss. His voice was even more serious.

Thalia’s long lashes quivered as she let out a soft laugh, then looked straight at him. “What else could it be? You got hurt, you’ve been doing everything you can to help me, and you even agreed to sign the divorce papers first. Honestly, I can’t come up with any other explanation.”

She tilted her head a little. “We’ve been together eight years, and only started sharing a bed six years ago. After all this time, you still haven’t had enough of me?”

Darion let out a low laugh, stepped right up to her, and looked her straight in the eye. “Yeah, I can’t get enough. So, will you let me?”

Thalia’s breath hitched. Honestly, she’d already braced herself for this.

They were both adults, and with everything he’d done for her, no one does all that without expecting something in return.

If this was all it took to call it even, it wasn’t exactly a bad deal.

Thalia looked at him again and said, “There has to be a limit, right?”

Darion’s breath grew even heavier. She was driving him absolutely crazy.

He let go of her, pulled out a cigarette from his pocket, and lit it. The red tip glowed and flickered as he took a deep drag, the thin white smoke curling around his handsome face.

He sat down on the couch, narrowing his eyes as he looked at her expressionless face. In a low, serious voice, he said, “Ten times a month.”

Thalia’s lashes quivered sharply, and she fell silent for a long time;

“That’s my condition. Take your time to think it over,” Darion said, finishing his cigarette. But the frustration in his chest kept building up, making him even more restless and annoyed.

She was so determined to settle the score, laying everything out like that. Fine, if she wanted things square, he’d play along.

Even.

From start to finish, all she ever wanted was to call it even.

“Okay,” Thalia finally said.

The room stayed silent for a long time. Thalia glanced at him again, a slight curve to her lips. “This thing between us only lasts until everything’s settled. Once it’s all over, we’re finished, completely.”

Darion didn’t say a word. He suddenly stood up, strode over to her, pulled her in by the back of her head, and crushed his lips to hers.

Chapter 426

This kiss was even fiercer, as if he wanted to consume her whole. She could feel the pain from his intensity.

Thalia instinctively tried to push him away, but then remembered what she’d just said, so she simply closed her eyes and surrendered to it.

Clothes dropped one after another onto the carpet, the bedsheets twisted into a messy pile. Dim light enveloped the room, the air heavy with steamy tension and tangled breaths. Through the crack in the curtains, the sky outside was starting to lighten.

He acted like he’d been starved for a woman for ages.

From 3am to 6am, he just kept going, never taking a break.

The wound he’d just re-bandaged split open again, the scent of blood mixing right in with the heat of the

moment.

By 7am, Thalia was completely spent. As his hands kept wandering over her, she managed to whisper, “Are you seriously trying to use up all ten times in one night?”
