I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 444

Chapter 444

Matthew sounded surprised. “He agreed to the divorce? So, did you guys finalize it yet?”

Thalia sighed. “He’s away on business. Once he gets back, we’ll take care of it.”

There was a pause on the other end, then Matthew spoke again. “Alright, let’s meet up and talk face-to- face.”

“Okay,” Thalia replied.

She hung up the phone.

When she turned around, she met Darion’s eyes, which held a teasing, almost-smirk.

She said in a cool tone, “I’m meeting him. Are you coming with me?”

Darion chuckled softly. “But I’m on a business trip, remember?”

Thalia was at a loss for words.

Her brows drew together. “I’m not joking,” Thalia said.

Darion replied, “I’m on a business trip, so I can’t go with you. Is that a problem?”

Thalia was at a loss for words.

She turned and walked out of Blackburn Manor.

Dax came out to drive her, and they headed straight to a coffee house, Thalia sent Matthew the location, and half an hour later, he pushed open the door to the private room.

When he saw how exhausted she looked, his eyes showed concern. /’How’s Diana doing?” he asked.

Thalia said, her voice heavy with sadness, “She’s still in a coma. Even the doctors don’t know when she’ll wake up. They’re demanding I find Miya before they’ll give me the antidote. Where am I supposed to even

start?”

Her eyes burned with resentment. “Miya is their adopted daughter. I’m not their biological child either, but they raised me as their own for so many years. How could they turn on me like this?”

Matthew sighed. “They really have lost their minds. They’re getting old, but how could they not think about the consequences?”

Thalia sniffled and looked at him, her voice trembling. “What am I supposed to do now? Is there anything you can do to help?”

Matthew tapped his fingers on the table, the steady rhythm filling the silence. “Let me think for a second. Do you know when exactly Miya disappeared?”

Thalia shook her head. “I really don’t know. I only found out after she was already gone.”

Matthew’s face turned grave. “That makes it a lot harder, but I’ll do everything I can.”

Chapter 444

After a moment, he asked, “Darion really agreed to the divorce?”

“Yeah.” Thalia nodded. “After dragging it out for so long, he finally said yes. Now we just have to wait for him to come back.”

Matthew smiled. “Well, at least something good is finally happening. Congratulations. Looks like you’re finally getting your freedom back.”

“Thanks, but I just can’t bring myself to be happy right now,” Thalia said, her face full of sadness and

worry.

Matthew nodded. “I understand. Let me make a call and see if I can get any information from the airport.”

Thalia looked at him, her eyes full of desperation. “Matthew, I’m begging you. Please help me find Miya. I can’t lose Diana…”

Matthew nodded with determination. “I’ll do everything I can.”

After their meeting, Thalia headed straight to the hospital.

When she got to the hospital room, she saw Darion was already there, and Keith had tagged along too. Keith was staring at Diana, who was still unconscious in the hospital bed, looking completely lost.
