Chapter 460
Then, Trenton turned to Thalia, his expression visibly softening.
“Thalia…” he began.
Thalia raised her hand, cutting him off. “The drama’s over. I’m heading out.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
“Thalia!” Trenton called out, taking a couple of steps after her.

“I know I misunderstood you about a lot of things in the past. We’ve been family for over twenty years. I raised you myself. Even if you’re not my biological daughter, we still share a bond as family,” he said.
Thalia felt disgusted just looking at him. Whenever his interests were threatened, he’d instantly cut you off and chase whatever worked best for him.
She gave him a frosty stare. “I have nothing to do with any of you.”
With that, she walked out of the hospital room briskly.
Trenton tried to follow, but Darion stepped in front of him, his sharp, handsome features set in a cool indifference. “Didn’t you hear what she said?” Darion said flatly.
Trenton was still wary of Darion and stopped in his tracks, not daring to move forward.
He was eaten up with regret. ‘How did things get so messed up between me and Thalia?’ he wondered.
‘If only I hadn’t played favorites with her from the beginning….
‘It’s all that little bitch Miya’s fault!’ Trenton fumed inwardly.
Trenton was so furious that he spun around and slapped Miya hard across the face.
“You vicious bitch, get out of here!” he shouted.
Miya’s ears were ringing from the slap. She stared at Trenton in disbelief. “You… you actually hit me?”
“I wish I could beat you to death!” Trenton yelled, pointing at her. “If it weren’t for you, the Coleman family wouldn’t be in this mess! You’ve turned our home into a living hell. Are you happy now?”
Miya bit her lip, slowly got to her feet, and left the hospital room with Vicky.
Shyla watched them leave, her face clouded with sadness, at a complete loss for words.
She was still stunned by Miya’s act of revenge.
She couldn’t believe the daughter she’d cherished for so many years would turn against her like this.
Shyla covered her face with both hands, breaking down and muffling her sobs.
Trenton helped her up and sat her down on the bed, his face grim. “Crying won’t fix anything now. We owe

Thalia so much. What matters is getting her to forgive us. Darion is head over heels for her, and she’s holding onto Diana’s fortune. She can’t just walk away from our family!”
Shyla looked at him, her face pale. “It’s impossible… Thalia’s never coming back to us.”
“We still have to try!” Trenton’s expression grew darker. “We can’t end up empty-handed!”
Shyla looked lost. “But what are we supposed to do now?”
Trenton rubbed his temples. “Let me think for a second…”

Vicky and Miya left the hospital together.
Vicky’s face was twisted with resentment and anger. “That traitor! Shyla is such an ingrate! I treated her like family, and this is how she pays me back!”
Miya stared blankly ahead, not saying a word.
“Miya?” Vicky called out to her.
She called her name again. “What are you thinking about?”
Miya finally spoke, her voice empty. “Diana, there’s nothing left. I have absolutely nothing now.”
Everything had fallen apart. She’d lost the title of Mrs. Blackburn, her adoptive parents didn’t love her anymore, and now she couldn’t even see her own son…
She couldn’t believe it. In the end, she really had nothing left at all.
