Thalia asked anxiously, “Diana, are you okay?”

She even gave Thalia a reassuring smile.

Thalia looked down anxiously and gently supported Diana as they walked back and forth in the hospital

room.

Thalia helped her sit up against the headboard and asked, “Is there anything you’d like to eat?”

Darion spoke up, “Diana, once you’re out of the hospital, how about coming to stay with us at Rosewood Manor? It’s a big place. There’s plenty of space for you to grow flowers and veggies, or even have a cat or a dog if you want.”

Thalia shot him a frown.

‘Seriously? He’s bringing this up now?’ Thalia thought. ‘Diana already knows about the divorce. If we ask her to move in with us at a time like this, what is she supposed to think?’

Darion ignored her look and just kept his gentle smile fixed on Diana.

Diana took a few seconds to process, then finally nodded. “Alright.”

Both Darion and Thalia were stunned. They never expected Diana would actually agree.

“Thalia,” Diana called out softly.

She suddenly reached for Thalia’s hand, her eyes full of gentle warmth. “Are you two not getting divorced after all? If you don’t want to go through with it, then just forget about it. Just focus on being happy together.”

Thalia froze for a moment.

Darion’s lips curled into a subtle smile. He couldn’t hide his happiness.

Diana continued, “He doesn’t want the divorce anyway, so just put up with him for now. When you find someone better, then you can just take him to court.”

She looked like she was caught up in some old memory, pointing at the noodles and muttering under her breath.
