I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 498

Chapter 498

“Who are you?” Darion’s voice cut through the silence, making Bonnie jump.

She spun around, clutching the sheets she had just changed to her chest, her face a little pale.

“M-Mr. Blackburn, I’m Bonnie Curtis…” she stammered.

Darion’s sharp brows drew together. “What are you doing here?”

Bonnie said nervously, “Thalia asked me to change the sheets and duvet cover. I’ll be done in just a

moment.”

Darion shot her a look. “Then why are you wearing her clothes?”

Bonnie was wearing one of Thalia’s shirts, a crisp white one with neat cuffs, simple yet elegant.

On Thalia, it looked smart and sophisticated. But on Bonnie, it was like a kid trying on grown-up clothes, awkward and out of place.

“I gave it to her. Got a problem with that?” Thalia’s voice came from the bathroom.

She stepped out in a bathrobe, her skin still flushed from just having showered.

Her clear eyes were icy as she looked at Darion.

Bonnie mumbled, barely meeting Thalia’s eyes, “Thalia, I’ll take it off right now. And… this shirt really doesn’t suit me. I think I should give it back to you.”

She looked like she was on the verge of tears.

Thalia shot Darion a glare. “Who gave you permission to come into my room? You just showed up and scared us half to death. I haven’t even confronted you yet, and you’re already acting all tough with us.”

Darion raised an eyebrow. “Me? Harsh to you?”

“You’re being mean to her,” Thalia snapped. “She’s my friend, you know.”

Darion just shrugged. “What’s that got to do with me? I’m always like this with people who don’t matter to me. You know me, don’t you?”

He stepped closer. “Thalia, are you just using this as an excuse to take it out on me?”

Thalia gave a cold laugh. “Do I even need a reason to be mad at you?”

Darion was stunned into silence.

Bonnie felt the pressure suffocating her. She sped up, quickly swapping out the sheets and duvet cover, hugging them to her chest as she bolted from the room.

Once outside, she finally felt like she could breathe again.

‘Darion treats Thalia so differently from everyone else, Bonnie thought, feeling a pang in her chest.

Chapter 198

‘He’s always so tender and caring with her.

‘Will he ever look at me that way? Will he ever be that gentle to me?’

Darion said, “Didn’t I say she’s not allowed upstairs after niné?”

Thalia sat at her vanity and teased, “What, are you afraid she’s going to make a move on you?”

Darion gave her a long, searching look. “Aren’t you?”

Thalia let out a mocking laugh. “Did you forget I used to send girls your way? Why would I even care about something like that?”

Before she could finish, Darion, who had been sitting on the edge of the bed, suddenly got up, strode over, and crashed his lips onto hers.
