I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 528

Chapter 528

The next morning, Thalia came downstairs to find Wendy already up, shooting her a pitiful look.

Thalia cleared her throat.

She walked over and asked, “What do you want for breakfast?”

Wendy pouted, her lips so exaggerated you could hang a bottle on them. She said, sounding all pitiful, “I waited for you all night.”

Thalia was at a loss for words.

‘How the heck am I supposed to explain this?

‘Yeah, there’s just no way to talk my way out of this one,’ she sighed inwardly.

Without another word, Thalia made a beeline for the kitchen. “Let me check what’s for breakfast,” she called over her shoulder.

Wendy just let out a dramatic “hmph!” and turned away.

Just then, Darion came downstairs.

Wendy shot him a glare and muttered under her breath, “You Demon!”

Darion raised an eyebrow, his expression completely relaxed. He replied in a laid-back tone, “Glad you noticed.”

Wendy was left speechless.

‘Like hell I was complimenting you!’ Wendy grumbled to herself.

The bodyguards escorted Wendy home, and when Thalia got the message that she’d made it back safe and sound, she finally let out a sigh of relief.

Today, Viola was going to hypnotize Harvey.

Harvey was also being held at the villa.

When they arrived, they found Harvey looking completely wrecked, locked up in a room. His hair was a mess, his face dirty, and his eyes were dull and lifeless.

He’d failed his mission and ended up getting caught.

He was probably going to die here.

Darion said coolly, “If you spill everything you know right now, I’ll set you up with a new identity. Harvey will vanish for good. No one will ever track you down.”

Harvey’s eyes flickered, and he asked in a hoarse voice, “You’d really do that?”

“As long as you’re telling the truth,” Darion replied, his gaze icy and unreadable.

Chapter 528

Harvey was caught in a struggle, torn between choices.

But after a long moment, he closed his eyes and said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

He was clearly determined to keep his mouth shut no matter what.

He just didn’t believe Darion could actually keep him alive.

Darion raised an eyebrow, but didn’t say a word. Instead, he turned to Viola.

Viola smirked. “I love it when people try to tough it out.”

Harvey shot her a suspicious look. “Who are you?”

Viola strode right up to him, took a seat, and curved her lips into a confident smile. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

Once again, she snapped her fingers, letting the antique pocket watch in her hand drop and swing slowly from side to side.

Harvey’s eyes instinctively followed the hypnotic motion of the watch.

As his gaze grew hazy, Viola spoke up. “Who is Vera?”

Her very first question cut straight to the heart of the matter.

Matthew was still out cold, so there was no way to get anything out of him for now.

Right now, Harvey was their only shot at breaking through.

Harvey stared blankly at the watch, his voice slow and dazed. “She’s the eldest daughter of the Holt family.”

“The Holt family?’ Thalia wondered, her mind racing.

She shot Darion a look, her eyes full of confusion.
