I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 53

Chapter 53 Broken Security Cameras

“Don’t you hear her? She confessed! What a wicked woman. She’s completely unfit to be part of the Blackburn family. Darion, you have to divorce her.”

Sandra, who had been standing nearby, pointed a shaking finger at Thalia, her eyes filled with anger and disdain.

Trenton’s expression shifted as he looked at Sandra. “Madam Blackburn, please calm down. We spoiled her too much, and she really went too far this time. I’ll make her apologize to Miya and see that she’s punished. “She and Darion have been through so much to be together. Divorce shouldn’t be decided on a whim.”

Sandra snorted coldly. “Miya and she are both your daughter, yet one is gentle, polite, and graceful, while the other is arrogant and scheming. Why?”

Trenton’s face darkened even more after the harsh rebuke, but he had no reply in front of Sandra.

After all, Thalia had confessed that she did it.

Trenton shot Thalia a furious glare. “You brat! How could you do this? Come here and apologize to Madam Blackburn right now.”

“Enough!” Darion snapped.

Everyone was shouting, and Darion’s head felt like it was splitting. His low growl instantly hushed the entire living room.

He seized Thalia by the shoulders, squeezing gently. Staring at her cold, empty face, his Adam’s apple moved, and he said hoarsely, “Thalia, it’s not fun. You didn’t hurt him. I know you.”

But Thalia pushed his hands away and stepped back. “I did it. I warned you, if you wouldn’t divorce me, I’d show no mercy to that woman and her son.”

Her gaze flickered faintly, fighting to hold back her true feelings.

Since she was little, she’d never let herself be wronged. But for Darion, she’d compromised again and again, enduring too much.

This time, she accepted the false accusation, all just to divorce him.

Darion knew Thalia better than anyone. He saw right through her, and he understood exactly what she was doing.

She wondered what choice he’d make.

Now, the weight of it all was on Darion’s shoulders.

Darion clenched his jaw, his sharp eyes reddening with rage. He turned to Jadiel and ordered, “Check the surveillance footage!”

He turned back to Thalia. “The surveillance footage will prove your innocence, Thalia. You shouldn’t have to shoulder this false blame. Everyone’s got it wrong about you. I know you didn’t do it.”

By the end, his voice was shaking.

Her reasons left him stunned, a dull ache weighing heavily on his heart.

‘How could she do this? How could she let herself be wronged, just to divorce me? Do we really have to go our separate ways?’ Darion thought, his heart twisting.

Thalia stood still, her hands hanging at her sides, fists clenched so tight that her nails pierced her palms.

Jadiel returned quickly. He hesitated for a moment, then reported, “Mr. Darion, the security cameras didn’t

work.”

“What?” Darion barked.

He yanked Jadiel by the collar, his sharp eyes blazing red with anger. “How could it be? With all these guests present today, didn’t anyone inspect the cameras inside and outside the house?”
