Bonnie felt a little blue, but knowing Thalia could keep living happily ever after made her smile inside

Diana was watching TV when she suddenly asked, “Bonnie, do you have your phone with you?”

Bonnie was taken aback for a moment, then recalled what Thalia had told her.

If Diana asks for the phone again, just hand it over, Bonnie reminded herself.

She nodded and took out her phone. “Sure, I have it right here, Diana. Do you want to call someone? Do you remember the number? I can dial it for you.”

Diana took the phone, slipped on her reading glasses, and her fingers trembled as she carefully entered a string of numbers.

But she hesitated, her thumb hovering over the call button, unable to press it.

Her fingers wouldn’t stop trembling.

Bonnie watched, feeling a pang in her chest as she took it all in.

Seeing Diana like this was truly moving. It was as if the person behind that number was someone she couldn’t help loving, out also couldn’t quite forgive.

For a while, Diana just sat there, never making the call. In the end, she handed the phone back to Bonnie.

Forget it,” she murmured.

She slipped off her reading glasses and turned her attention back to the TV.

But Bonnie could see the loneliness written all over her.

Bonnie glanced at the number and kept it. She planned to call later and ask who this person really was to Diana.

If possible, maybe she could help them meet Diana in person.

Maybe that way Diana wouldn’t feel so lost and heartbroken.

Jason hadn’t expected Darion and Thalia to show up.

He was visibly surprised when he saw them, but quickly flashed a warm smile. “Hey, Thalia, not so busy these days?”

Thalia asked warmly. “How’s your recovery going?”

I’m all good now!” Jason said, giving his chest a proud thump. “Eating like a horse and feeling stronger than ever!”

“That’s great!” Thalia replied.

Thalia glanced at him, her eyes clouded with mixed feelings.

She could still picture the scene from the wedding day. Jason’s emotions weren’t fake, not for a second.

He really did want to marry Wendy.

He went all in, but ended up losing everything.

Danon said coolly. “Let’s get started.”

Dax stepped forward and offered his hand. “Hey, man, long time no see.”

Jason shook his hand, grinning. “This time, I’m definitely taking you down!”

Dax laughed heartily. “Looks like you’re really back in the game. Nothing can stop you now!”

Jason’s gaze was unwavering. He was certain he could do it.

Every day, he longed to see Wendy again. All he wanted was to bring her home.

‘After all this time, is Wendy scared?’ Jason wondered.

She always seemed carefree and bold, but deep down, she was actually quite timid.

Just thinking about her made Jason’s chest tighten with pain.
