I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 569

Chapter 569

If you think about it, after eight years together, maybe they never really knew each other at all.

So, what was the point of those eight years?

Thalia lowered her gaze, a trace of mockery and bitterness flickering in her eyes, but she let it go just as quickly

Meanwhile, Dax, who had just been knocked flat, scrambled to his feet, covered in dirt, and looked at Darion. “Mr. Blackburn, your moves are even quicker now.”

Darion shrugged, “I’m still the same as ever. Maybe you just haven’t been working out lately?”

Dax was speechless.

‘Man, why do I feel so embarrassed all of a sudden?’ Dax thought, feeling awkward for no reason.

He shuffled off to the side, trying to hide his embarrassment.

Darion’s eyes turned colder. “How are you supposed to protect her if you keep slacking off like this?”

Dax looked down. “I’ll train harder.”

Darion walked over, shot Jason a look, and said, “You’re still not good enough. Keep at it. At the very least, you should be able to survive ten rounds with him.”

Jason clenched his jaw, determination flashing in his eyes. “Fine, I’ll do it!”

Darion then turned to Thalia, his expression softening as he asked in a low voice, “Did you notice anything?”

Thalia paused for a moment, then admitted honestly, “You guys were moving way too fast. I couldn’t see anything.”

Darion chuckled softly. “Want to learn?”

Thalia’s eyes sparkled. “Are you really going to teach me?”

“Of course,” Darion said, his smile widening. “But you’ll have to pay tuition.”

Thalia just stared, feeling utterly speechless. ‘Seriously?’

She looked at him with a blank face. “So, what’s the tuition fee?”

Darion closed the distance between them, his obsidian, fox-like eyes locked onto Thalia, but he kept silent for a moment.

Jason and Dax exchanged a glance, then left the room together, chatting as they went.

“Nice day, huh?” Jason said, grasping for anything to break the silence.

“Yeah, totally, Dax replied, just as awkward.

Thalia’s face grew warm, a blush creeping up her cheeks. ‘Why am I blushing all of a sudden?’ she wondered

Darion let out a low chuckle. “Let’s make it two more times.”
