Darion still hadn’t figured out what to do when Thalia did something that totally caught him off guard.

He tiptoed over and just stood there, watching for a long time. Darion couldn’t help but wonder, ‘If I hadn’t gotten a vasectomy, would our child be this old now?’

Would she treat our child with even more tenderness than she does Keith?’ Darion thought.

Would we have never got divorced?’ he wondered.

A shadow flickered in Darion’s narrow, almond-shaped eyes. He bent down, scooped Thalia up into his arms, and walked straight out of the room.

Once the door was closed, Thalia opened her eyes, frowning slightly as she looked at him. “Put me down,” she said. Darion tightened his grip, his voice low and husky. “No.”

With long strides, he carried her upstairs, pressed her down onto the bed, and kissed her with desperate urgency.

Thalia let out a soft moan.

She tried to push him away, but he was like a man possessed, wild with excitement, his kisses leaving her breathless.

After what felt like forever, he reluctantly released her, but kept planting gentle kisses at the corner of her lips, one after another.

He was clearly still craving more.

‘Darion, you’re down to your last chance this month!” Thalia gasped, warning him to keep his hands to himself.

Darion let out a low chuckle. “Wait, does kissing even count? Pretty sure that wasn’t part of the deal.”

Thalia’s delicate brows furrowed even more. She turned her face away and huffed, “Ugh, get off me, you’re such a mess!”

Darion stared at her for a while before finally saying, “Thalia, thank you.”

Thalia’s lashes quivered, but she stayed silent.

Darion got up and went back to his room to take a shower.

When he came back to find her, he realized she’d locked him out.

There was no way she was letting him in tonight.

Standing at the door, Darion let out a soft chuckle, then turned and headed for the room next door.

Thalia had just climbed into bed when she heard a rustling sound coming from the balcony

She instantly tensed up and fixed her gaze on the balcony

This is Rosewood Manor, a private villa with bodyguards outside. No way anyone could sneak in, right? Thalia thought trying to reassure herself.

She looked around, but there wasn’t a single thing she could use as a weapon. Her face grew grim.

Just then, a figure showed up on the balcony. Thalia took a closer look, and was instantly speechless.

It was Darion. He’d actually climbed over from next door.

He flipped over with effortless style, landed smoothly, got up, brushed the dust off his hands, and flashed her a roguish grin, raising his eyebrow at her in a cheeky challenge.

Next time, remember to lock the balcony door too,” he said with a smirk.

Thalia was speechless.

Ugh, this guy is just shameless!’ Thalia thought.

Darion washed his hands, then came over to her bed and just grabbed her like he owned the place, pulling her into his arms.

Let go,” Thalia said coldly.

Thalia’s expression was frosty.

Darion closed his eyes and said, “No way. I’m holding onto you while we’re still married. Gotta make the most of it before it’s oo late.”
