Chapter 632
Hearing that. Thalia didn’t dare to move.

But with one hand holding a glass of water and pressed against his chest, the whole posture felt weird and uncomfortable.
Thalia opened her mouth to speak, but then remembered she couldn’t speak anymore.
She frowned, then started to write on his shoulder.
Her cool fingertips pressed through the fabric, the touch unmistakable. Darion swallowed hard.
She wrote: [Weren’t you asking for water?]
When Darion realized what she’d written, his arm relaxed a bit.
Thalia quickly took the opportunity to slip out of his embrace, helped him sit up, and passed him the glass.
Darion took a couple of sips, and his parched throat finally felt soothed. His voice sounded less rough now.
Thalia,” he murmured.
After a couple of seconds, Thalia gently tapped him, letting him know she was there.
Darion lowered his head. With everything pitch black, his hearing became more sensitive. He listened for her breathing and could tell she was sitting right beside him.
‘Don’t be afraid. I’ll do whatever it takes to help your throat heal,” Darion said.
Thalia responded softly.
Then she took the glass from his hand.
He heard the gentle clink of glass as she set it on the cabinet, then the sound of a chair sliding across the floor.
He could hear the soft rustle of her clothes and the gentle sound of her breathing.
Darion listened closely, turning his face toward her. “Thalia, you’re here, right?”
Thalia gave him a surprised look.
If it weren’t for the bandages over his eyes, she would’ve thought his vision was perfectly fine.
Is this guy for real? she wondered.
‘He can really figure out where I am just by listening?’ Thalia thought, her mind blown.
Before Thalia could react, the hospital room door was suddenly thrown open.
“Darion. I heard you’re awake! You’re okay, right?”
Dax’s rough voice echoed as he stormed in like a gust of wind, yanked out a chair, and sat down heavily
Dax turned to Thalia. “Hey Thalia, when did you show up?”

And then came the sound of her typing on her phone.
She replied I got here as soon as he was moved.]
Dax nodded. “Ah, I see. He looks pretty much okay, except for his eyes….”
He fixed his gaze on Darion for a bit, then let out a heavy sigh.
“Did you forget what you promised me?”
Just then, a cold voice cut through the room.

Dax suddenly felt the air turn icy. He’d been slouched in his chair, but as soon as Darion spoke, he sat up straight.
His eyes flickered, avoiding Darion’s gaze.
‘Darion’s really settling scores now, Dax thought.
He rubbed his nose, sounding unsure. “Look, I’m Thalia’s bodyguard, so I gotta listen to her…”
But with each word, his confidence faded even more.
“You knew it was wrong, but you still went along with it. She put herself at risk, and you just let her act recklessly?” Darion’s voice was icy cold.
If Dax hadn’t been keeping an eye on Thalia the whole time, Darion wouldn’t have spared him so easily.
Dax knew he was at fault and stayed silent.
Darion was about to say more, but Thalia suddenly grabbed his hand. Her cool fingertips traced hurried, messy words across his palm.
Darion couldn’t make out what she was writing, so he caught her fingertips and said, “Thalia, you’re writing too fast. I can’t tell what you’re trying to say. Take it slow, I won’t interrupt you.”
