I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 674

Chapter 674 Deciding To Go Back

“Don’t worry, Helen. I’ll do everything I can to help him,” Natasha said seriously.

Helen just gave a couple of distracted replies and then hung up.

She gripped her phone tightly, rage flashing in her eyes.

‘Damn it!’ Helen thought angrily.

‘Thalia made my son lose his sight!

‘She’s a menace!

‘Darion’s so stupid. He knows how dangerous she is, but he still won’t stay away from

her!

‘What’s so great about Thalia, anyway?’ Helen fumed.

Helen paced back and forth in her room, phone in hand, anxiety gnawing at her. If she

let things go on like this, Darion might not make it out alive.

That was the last thing she wanted to see.

She had to go back.

She had to figure out how to get Thalia away from Darion.

Helen turned and walked into another room, where she saw a middle-aged man

resting. “Richard, do you want to go back to Ariston?” she asked.

Richard frowned. “Didn’t we agree to go back for the Christmas?”

There were still two months until Christmas.

“What would we go back for now?” Richard asked.

Helen said, “Darion’s in trouble. I want to go back and see him for myself.”

She paused, her eyes full of mixed emotions as she looked at him. “Richard, Darion is our only son. If something happens to him, we’ll lose everything. It’s been more than three years. Are you still not over it?”

Richard lowered his gaze, his voice cold. “Back then, it was supposed to be him on that plane.”

Helen’s eyes filled with tears. “Isn’t he your son too? I never complained about you always favoring Emely, but Darion is your son as well. If he dies, won’t you feel any pain? Won’t you be heartbroken?”

Emely was exceptional, always his parents’ pride, the kind of kid everyone wished was theirs.

Darion, on the other hand, was a troublemaker. He never listened and always kept Richard and Helen on their toes.

But whenever they tried to discipline Darion, Emely would step in to shield his little brother.

Even though he was only a few years older, Emely would act like an adult and say, “The Blackburn family’s got me, so let Darion do whatever he wants.”

Darion would then hide behind Emely, pulling faces and driving everyone crazy.

Richard was always partial to Emely and had high expectations for him.

If that accident hadn’t happened, Emely would still be here, and the Blackburn family wouldn’t have ended up like this.

Helen wiped away her tears. “Every time I think about Emely, it hurts just as much for me. But now, Darion is all we’ve got left. He really can’t go through anything else. I need to go back and check on him myself. I just wanted to see if you wanted to come. If not, it’s okay.”

With that, she turned and left the room, started packing her bags to head back home. No matter how much Darion hated her, Helen was determined to drive Thalia out of his life.

Thalia was like a ticking time bomb. No one knew when she might go off and hurt everyone around her.

Helen knew Thalia wasn’t really to blame, but she shouldn’t keep Darion close when she knew how dangerous she was.

Helen finished packing in no time. She was about to let Richard know she was heading out now, but when she opened the door, she found he’d already packed as well.

Richard met her gaze, then said quietly, “I’ll go back with you.”

Helen’s face lit up with joy. “Great! We’ll go back together. Darion will be thrilled to know you’re worried about him!”
