Chapter 700 She Crippled Her Own Son
Inside the hospital room, Natasha was carefully removing the IV from Darion’s arm as Thalia walked in.
Helen sat nearby, her brows furrowed with worry as she watched.
Hearing footsteps, Darion’s eyelids fluttered slightly as he called out, “Thalia.”
Yeah, Thalia responded quietly.
Thalia then took a seat in a nearby chair.
Natasha asked, “Thalia, what were you up to?”
Thalia typed, “Just went out to get some air.”
Natasha scrunched her nose. “Yeah, you really should get some fresh air. Being stuck in the hospital all day would make anyone lose their mind.”
‘Alright, all done!” Natasha said as she pulled out the last IV.
She then took out a patch. “Put this on his eye and change it every three hours. Let’s see how it works.”
Helen reached out and took it. “Okay.”
Natasha blinked and asked, “Helen, are you staying tonight?”
‘Yes, I’ll stay and take care of Darion,” Helen replied.
‘No need,” Darion said, cutting her off.
‘I don’t want anyone staying overnight,” he added.
Then, he turned to Thalia, his tone gentler. “Did you remember what Dr. Riley said?” Natasha just stared at him.
She rolled her eyes.
No one staying overnight…’ Natasha thought.
So, he only wants Thalia to stay, huh?’ she wondered.
Helen’s face went a bit stiff, and she gave Thalia a conflicted glance before handing her the medicine. “Alright then, you take care of Darion.”
“She’s already doing a great job,” Darion spoke up again, his tone protective.
Helen looked at him, her expression unreadable, but she could see how fiercely he was standing up for Thalia.
Just then, Dax burst into the room. “Darion, Miya’s about to lose it. Are we really just going to leave her like that?”
Darion’s brows knitted together.

Natasha asked, puzzled, “Who’s that?”
Thalia’s expression hardened as she looked at Dax and typed, “Don’t let her die.”
Helen looked confused. “Who’s Miya Smith?”
The name sounded familiar, but she just couldn’t place it.
Dax scratched his head, totally oblivious to the tension in the room. “It’s Miya Coleman.”
“What?” Helen’s eyes widened.
“Miya Coleman is here too? What happened to her?” she asked.
Darion said, “Mom, just stay out of this.”
Suddenly, Thalia’s cold, electronic voice cut through the room. “It was Miya Smith who brought the powder that poisoned both me and Darion.”
Helen’s face went pale as she turned to Darion, her voice urgent. “Darion, is that true?” “Come on, how could it not be?” Dax said, scratching his head. “One can’t see, the other can’t speak. It’s all right in front of us. What’s there to doubt?
