I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 73

Chapter 73

“What are you doing? Let go!” Thalia exclaimed, her voice sharp with shock. She struggled, pushing against Darion’s chest. desperate to keep him at bay.

Darion reeked of alcohol as he pinned her down, pressing his entire body against hers, leaving no space between them. His hot breath fanned against her ear.

“Who did you meet at Blue Night?” Darion growled, his voice thick with jealousy and rough from the alcohol.

His husky voice and hot breath brushed against her ear, sending a tingling rush from her ear all the way through her body.

“What are you talking about? I don’t understand. Let me go,” Thalia protested, her voice quivering, overwhelmed by the heat of his breath. She felt disgusted with herself for acting this way.

She’d already decided to let go, but the heat of his breath pulled her right back in. They were so familiar with each other’s bodies. Just a touch, and it would spark the most primal urges.

Their attraction was deadly. It was the hardest addiction to kick. That’s why Thalia always tried to keep her distance from

him.

Instead of letting go, Darion pressed in even closer, his lips landing a hot kiss right on her ear.

“Thalia, who did you meet? Tell me. Why were you smiling at him? What were you two talking about that made you laugh so much?” Darion demanded, his voice raw with jealousy.

Thalia couldn’t make sense of his words at all. He was making it sound like she was the one who’d done something wrong. But he was the one who cheated.

Thalia turned her head away. “I don’t get what you’re saying. You’re drunk. Let me go.” Her slender neck was bare before him, impossible to miss.

His Adam’s apple bobbed as her indifference left him breathless. He craved the fiery passion she used to show him.

Without hesitation, he bent down and pressed his lips to her neck. He lingered on her soft skin, trailing kisses and marking her with hickeys, one after another.

Thalia’s eyes widened slightly as she struggled hard to break free. But Darion grabbed her wrists, twisted them behind her back, and forced her chest up against his.

He bent down slightly, his kisses becoming more wild and frenzied.

“Darion, let me go!” Thalia yelled, her voice breaking. Her voice had changed, almost unrecognizable from the strain.

Darion, pressed against her chest, paused for a second. Then he looked up, his eyes reddened at the corners as he stared at her. “Why are you pushing me away?”

“Didn’t you already agree not to divorce? If you said yes, then we’re good now, right, Thalia?”

His lips wandered from her chin to her mouth, gently kissing her soft lips. But Thalia bit him hard, the sharp pam snapping him out of his drunken haze.

Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears, and her gaze was cold as ice as she glared at him. “You are shameless!”

She fumed, her anger boiling over, ‘Now that he knows the terms of the divorce, he still has the nerve to mess with me. Who does he think I am?’

Daron’s expression turned icy, and seeing the coldness in Thalia’s eyes, the atmosphere around him grew tense and heavy

‘Shameless he muttered, lips curling into a smirk. “We’re still husband and wife. What’s so shameless about acting like a married couple””

Without warning, Darion scooped Thalia up in a bridal carry and strode straight toward the bedroom. She was rattled by the dangerous vibe rolling off him and started kicking and squirming.
