Chapter 75
There was always something unspoken between Darion and Miya. He’d agreed to Helen’s demands, only to turn around and ake liberties with me. What does he see me as? Thalia wondered.
she started to question their eight-year relationship. A deep sense of helplessness washed over her. She suddenly realized he wasn’t as carefree as she seemed on the outside.
Whenever it came to Darion or Miya, she couldn’t control her emotions.
One was the man she’d loved for eight years. The other was the woman she’d hated for more than a decade. And now, they vere mixed up with each other.
How could they get so tangled up with each other?’ Thalia thought, her mind spinning.
Darion stood downstairs, his clothes all wrinkled, waiting for Dylan to pick him up.
Dylan spotted him from afar, and his eyes went wide in disbelief. ‘Holy crap, he thought. ‘Did Mr. Blackburn get beaten up ›r something? Did he get kicked out?’
Darion was standing by the roadside late at night, looking like a stray dog someone had tossed out. He looked so pathetic.
When the car rolled up, Dylan wiped the surprise off his face and went back to his usual calm. He asked, “Mr. Blackburn, vhere to?”
Darion slid into the back seat, tossed his jacket aside, and felt a suffocating tightness in his chest. He muttered. “Just find me
place to die.”
Dylan’s mouth twitched. “Mr. Blackburn, come on, don’t joke around. Should I take you back to Rosewood Manor?”
That was the place meant to be their marital home. But his wife wasn’t there. ‘Why bother going back?’ Darion thought.
He closed his eyes, his voice turning even colder. “Anywhere is fine.”
Dylan was at a loss for words. ‘Man, this is awkward, he thought. ‘Did his wife dump him, so now he’s just letting himself go?” n the end, Dylan took him back to Rosewood Manor.
Mr. Blackburn, we’re here,” Dylan said.
Darion opened his eyes and saw the familiar front yard of the villa, and his head started to ache. He rubbed his forehead and uddenly asked, “You got a girlfriend yet?”
Dylan shook his head. “Not yet.
Darion sighed, ‘Never mind, talking to you about it is pointless.”
Dylan blinked. “Mr. Blackburn, maybe you should talk to Mr. Campbell. He’s always got ideas”
“Him?” Darion scoffed. “That guy’s been dumped more times than I can count. What kind of advice could he give me? Should I have him come over and teach me the art of getting dumped?”
Dylan was at a loss for words. Darion got out of the car and walked into the villa. The darkness slowly swallowed him up, his silhouette looking utterly forlorn.

The next day, Thalia pulled herself together, sipped her coffee, and headed to the recording studio.
Thinking about Darion and Miya, those two scumbags, made her want to scream. She pushed them out of her head and focused entirely on work.
When she arrived at the recording studio, the project manager and Wesley were already waiting in the lounge.
Thalia went through another audition, reading for the role once more. She’d been grinding hard lately, and not only had she recaptured her old spark, but her emotions were even richer. Her performance had leveled up.
Wesley was seriously impressed. He turned to the person next to him and said, “I’ve been wanting her for this role since day one. That last girl was so forced and over the top. It made me sick.”
The assistant replied, “If the higher-ups hadn’t insisted, we would’ve kicked things off way earlier. But that girl had some real
