I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 756

Chapter 756 Ulterior Motives

Sebastian’s smile grew even warmer as he said gently, “You’re recovering really well. And stop being so polite with me. If you keep this up, I might just get mad.”

Thalia smiled softly, her clear eyes shining with a gentle, watery light.

Sebastian gazed at her and said, “Thalia, you look really beautiful when you smile like that. Before, it was like there was always a cloud hanging over you, and it made my heart ache for you.”

Darion’s voice came from the side, cool and detached. “Mr. Flynn, you must have a lot of free time if you can spare the energy to feel sorry for someone else’s wife.”

Sebastian turned to him, his expression turning colder. “If those who claim to be close to her don’t actually care, then someone else has to step up.”

Darion let out a mocking laugh. “What, have you been spying on them in their bedroom? How would you know if he doesn’t care?”

Seeing the two of them about to start arguing again, Thalia suddenly stood up. “Go.”

Her tone was forceful, leaving no room for argument.

Darion immediately stood up, his voice softening. “Thalia, I’ll go with you.”

Sebastian stood up as well and asked, “Thalia, any plans for later? I’m free today. If you need to go anywhere, I can drive you.”

Darion replied coolly, “We’ve got plenty of cars at home. Wouldn’t dare have you play chauffeur, Mr. Flynn.”

Sebastian said gently, “I like driving myself. It’s more relaxed, less uptight. Thalia’s got that free-spirited streak, so I’m sure she doesn’t like being boxed in either, right?”

Thalia was left speechless.

Natasha was practically buzzing with excitement, but she couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed, no popcorn here. If she’d known earlier, she would’ve asked the waiter for some.

This is hilarious!’ Natasha thought, her eyes sparkling.

Seriously, this is pure entertainment!’ she added to herself, barely able to contain her

amusement.

Watching these two guys argue and fight over Thalia was just too entertaining.

Thalia had no interest in listening to their back-and-forth any longer. She waved her phone at Sebastian to let him know she’d message him later, then grabbed Darion by the arm and marched him out of t Successfully unlocked!

Natasha quickly followed after them, but as she passed Sebastian, she gave him a

little thumbs-up and whispered, “Go for it! I’m rooting for you!”

Sebastian gave a faint smile as he watched them leave, then pushed his glasses up with a casual gesture.

Not long after, his phone buzzed. He pulled it out and saw a message from Thalia.

Thalia: [Sorry, Sebastian, we’re heading out now.]

Sebastian: [No worries. Just remember to take me out to dinner.]

Thalia: [You can count on it.]

Sebastian: [Ms. Perry told me Mr. Blackburn’s eyesight has a good chance of recovering. So you really don’t need to carry that heavy emotional burden anymore.]

Thalia: [Okay.]

Sebastian: [Go ahead and take care of your stuff. If anything comes up, just let me know. Don’t act too polite with me.]

Thalia: [Okay.]

The atmosphere in the car was tense. Thalia had stopped talking to anyone, and Darion’s voice finally broke the silence, low and gloomy. “Thalia, he’s got ulterior motives.”

Thalia immediately turned to him, her brows furrowing as she typed out, “Can you stop being so unreasonable? He helped you, and now you’re saying he’s got ulterior motives?”

Darion pressed his lips together, his voice cold. “He helped me just so he could steal you away from me. That’s why he’s got ulterior motives.”

Natasha couldn’t help but chime in, “Thalia is her own person. Who she chooses is entirely up to her. Even if you two are married, she doesn’t belong to you. She only belongs to herself.”

Darion turned toward her, and even with that white gauze over his eyes, Natasha could still feel his intimidating presence.

Natasha’s eyelid twitched. She suddenly remembered the ten million dollars.
