I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 757

Chapter 757 On The Other Hand

‘Of course, on the other hand, Mr. Blackburn, if you behave yourself and try to win Thalia’s forgiveness, you might still have a shot,” Natasha suddenly changed the subject, then turned to Thalia with a bright smile.

‘After all, you two are still husband and wife. The rest can wait until you’re no longer together.”

Thalia looked at her suspiciously, feeling that Natasha had been acting kind of weird

ately.

Why does she seem to be taking Darion’s side?’ Thalia wondered.

Hasn’t she always disliked Darion?’ Thalia thought.

Under Thalia’s gaze, Natasha felt a bit guilty. She rubbed her nose, looked away, and cleared her throat. “Well, I’m just giving my take as an outsider. You don’t have to listen to me.”

Thalia typed on her phone, “You’re not wrong. I won’t think about anything romantic until I’ve sorted out what’s right in front of me.”

Natasha let out a sigh of relief. Just now, she felt like half her brain cells had died.

t was so hard to steer the conversation back on track.

But luckily, she managed to hold it together.

Wow, I’m amazing!’ Natasha thought to herself.

Getting paid for this was so worth it!’ she added silently.

She hadn’t gone against her conscience, nor had she argued with Darion.

Natasha felt super proud of herself.

Darion wasn’t happy with that answer, but he knew better than to push her. She’d just get mad.

The car fell silent.

The driver took them straight back to Rosewood Manor. Thalia dropped Darion off and typed on her phone, “Natasha and I are going out for a bit. Is there anything you want?”

Darion’s voice lifted a little. “Are you getting me a present? As long as it’s from you, I’ll love anything.”

Thalia was left speechless.

She gave up on talking to him and just turned around to leave.

But from behind, Darion called out, his voice full of anticipation, “I’ll be waiting for you to come back.”

Chapter 57 On The Other Hand

Thalia was left speechless.

As soon as she got in the car, she exhaled deeply, letting out all her frustration.

Natasha had already settled into the back seat. Seeing the look on Thalia’s face, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Did his clinginess freak you out?”

Thalia typed on her phone, “He wasn’t like this before.”

“It’s all about his lack of security now,” Natasha said. “You used to make him feel so sure of himself. He believed you’d never leave, no matter what. So he stopped appreciating you and started overlooking your feelings.

“But the moment you really decided to leave, he panicked, got all clingy, and started worrying about losing you all the time.”

Thalia blinked, surprise flickering in her clear eyes. Her fingers tapped quickly on the screen, and even her robotic voice carried a hint of confusion. “You seem to know a lot

about this.”

Natasha’s eyes sparkled. “I haven’t lived it myself, but I’ve seen it up close. My parents are pretty much the same as you and Darion. They never got married, so my dad’s always felt insecure, wherever my mom goes, he follows right behind.”

Thalia’s eyes widened in surprise. She’d always assumed, from the way Natasha talked about her parents, that they were head-over-heels for each other. ‘Wait, they never even got married?’ she thought, a little stunned.

Natasha’s gaze turned nostalgic, with a hint of sadness. “My mom’s always been the wild, carefree type. She hates anything that ties her down.

‘She got with my dad just for the thrill, and when she’d had enough, she wanted to break free. Marriage was never on her mind. But who could’ve guessed my dad would end up glued to her for life?”
