I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 759

Chapter 759 Emely

Thalia shot to her feet, pointing at the man outside the window. “Emely!”

“What’s wrong? What’s wrong?” Natasha was startled by her reaction and quickly got up to check.

Thalia had already rushed outside, but when she looked up again, the man was nowhere to be seen.

She scanned the area, but the street was packed with traffic and crowds, and that figure had vanished without a trace.

‘What the hell?’ Thalia thought, her heart pounding.

Was I just seeing things in broad daylight?’ she wondered, feeling a chill run down her spine.

“Thalia, why did you suddenly run out like that?” Natasha followed her out, looking totally baffled.

Thalia pressed her lips together, double-checking the spot where she’d seen the man, then grabbed Natasha’s hand and headed back inside.

Once they were seated, Thalia pulled out her phone and started typing. Her phone’s robotic voice read out loud, “I just saw someone who looked a lot like Emely.”

Natasha blinked in confusion. “Wasn’t Emely Darion Blackburn’s older brother who already passed away?”

During her time at Rosewood Manor, she’d already figured out the Blackburn family’s

connections.

Thalia nodded, letting out a soft sigh, and kept typing. “Yeah, he’s already gone. I must’ ve just imagined it.”

Just then, Bonnie walked over with two cups of coffee, set them down in front of them, and sat down. “Why did you suddenly run out just now? Did something happen?”

Thalia shook her head and typed, “No, it was nothing. I thought I saw someone familiar, but my eyes must’ve played tricks on me.”

Bonnie nodded, then gave a bashful smile, her eyes shining with anticipation. “Thalia, my birthday is the day after tomorrow. I’m planning to cook a simple meal at home. Would you like to come?”

The anticipation in her gaze was unmistakable.

Thalia was taken aback for a moment, then nodded, her fingers flying over the keyboard. “I’ll definitely come. Just send me your address.”

Bonnie’s face lit up. “Okay, I’ll send it to you right now. Thalia, I’m really glad you’ll be

there.”

Thalia’s lips curved into a soft, warm smile.

Just then, a customer walked in, so Bonnie went to help. Natasha sipped her coffee and said, “This tastes great. I really like it.”

Thalia picked up her coffee and gave Natasha a nod toward the door, meaning it was

time to head out.

Natasha nodded, and they headed out together.

As evening rolled around, Natasha’s phone started ringing. She glanced at the screen, arched an eyebrow, and said, “Hey, it’s that scumbag Darion Blackburn.”

Thalia looked over as Natasha picked up. “Hey, what’s up?”

Darion Blackburn’s voice came through, cool and indifferent. “Put me on speaker.”

Natasha chuckled. “Why should I just do whatever you tell me? It’s my phone, not

yours.”

Darion Blackburn’s tone was calm and collected. “150 thousand dollars.”

Natasha paused, then blurted out, “Right away!”

Damn capitalist!’ Natasha cursed inwardly.
