I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 767

Chapter 767 Back Home

“Thalia, thanks a lot,” Bonnie said, flashing her a grateful smile.

Thalia tapped away on her phone and said, “Alright, you should head back. We’re about to catch our train.”

Bonnie hugged Thalia and said, “I’m going to miss Diana so much.”

Thalia gave a gentle smile, her gaze soft and tender.

After a four-hour train ride, they arrived and the car pulled up in front of an old

mansion. The butler, Samuel, who looked after the place, was delighted to see Diana return. “Mrs. Mcgee, you’re back! And Miss Thalia, you’re here too.”

Thalia gave Samuel a slight nod, speaking slowly and carefully.

“Samuel.”

Samuel was taken aback and quickly asked, “Miss Thalia, are you alright? What happened?”

Diana replied, “She got hurt by accident, but she’s almost recovered.”

Samuel’s face was tight with worry. “Was it bad? Did the doctor say when you’ll recover? How could you be so careless, Thalia?”

Samuel fussed over them like a real family member, grabbed their luggage, and walked inside with them.

Diana said, “Enough with the nagging. I’ve been gone so long, and you still haven’t kicked the habit?”

Samuel laughed, “You were gone forever! I was so bored, I kept bugging the neighbors, and they couldn’t stand me anymore. I’ve just been waiting for you to come back.”

Diana just shook her head, lost for words.

Thalia could feel that being back in a familiar place, catching up with old friends, made Diana noticeably more relaxed.

Samuel asked, “Did you manage to bring back that pair of sapphire earrings this time?”

Hearing that, both Diana and Thalia paused, their minds drifting for a moment.

Those sapphire earrings… It felt like forever ago.

But really, it hadn’t been that long. So much had happened since then that they’d almost forgotten. Diana had gone to Oakwood to find Thalia, all because of those sapphire earrings.

Back then, Diana thought those earrings were a token of love from Mason, and since she’d lost them, she felt she had to get them back.

But now, thinking it over, she realized those earrings weren’t really hers to begin with.

Anyway, she’d already handed the sapphire earrings over to Thalia, so what Thalia does with them is her business now.

Diana’s expression flickered for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure. “I found them. I gave them to Thalia.”

Samuel chuckled, “That’s great. It’s like passing something down. I knew you were coming back today, so I made a whole table of your favorite dishes.”

Once they stepped into the living room, Samuel was bustling around, fetching slippers and helping Diana with her coat.

Samuel had been looking after Diana for years. His grandchildren were all grown up and had their own families now, but he had no intention of leaving.
